Not only is it a stupid price but £100+ versions, you used to get a presentation box and some tat like an autograph and a WWE hall of fame ring. Maybe a statue and now they charge nearly the same price and gift you digital only.
This! This is exactly what I compare these stupid prices to, nowadays we get nothing of value but everyone is just so accepting of it for some reason. If I am gonna pay for a collectors edition I want some sort of collectible.
@@DudeImAsh I think you probably just never paid attention to it till now. But I remember looking in the newspaper way back the early and mid 90s and seeing the same WWF game like $20 cheaper on PC than it was for Sega or PlayStation. I didn't really understand the complete difference at the time, but I just knew I didn't have a computer so I couldn't get it lol.
@rocky047586 That's so strange. The only thing I'd put it down to is the extra cost a pc might run you if you want a really good one but I think you'd still be able to get one for the same price as one of the consoles, that could run the game. I just thought it was one of those things that's kind of ignored is all.
The main reason i bought it last year and will buy this year at launch is beacuse it comes out a few days before my birthday so it just feels like a gift to myself. Definitely just gunna buy the standard edition tho. Never understood paying like 30 bucks or more for basically nothing
Yeah, I see no issue with buying the game in general. I always get them on release, but my main point, like you mentioned, is confusion on why people like to pay extra for nothing essentially.
It depends on if you get the season pass for the dlc or not. If you do you are better off just getting the deluxe edition cause the season pass is included.
Not only that pc is better you can mod the game and do whatever ye want with it Basically when the time comes you can make it 2k25 And if you want the console feel just plug in a controller
Exactly, whenever I play it on pc, I use a controller, tbf. I think it's a bit too awkward to play with a keyboard. But how on earth is a game that's better on pc cheaper?? As I said, it's no bother to me because I benefit from it, but it makes no sense.
I don't understand why this is turning into a strange 'platform war' feeling area, I really don't understand how people can be accepting of the difference and instead try to turn it against one another.
Prices Are stupid if I get 2k24 I will wait till a sale when it's like £50 or 60 when I bought 2k23 I payed £78 for the icon version as a birthday present in 2023
It just doesn't make sense to me how there can be a difference in price between systems when the game is no different. The thing is, with it being a yearly sports game, there is never really any actual need to buy it full price at launch other than the fear of missing out.
@@DudeImAsh legit that's what there doing also in 2k24 brock lesnar will not be a playable character he will be in the game as a NPC in showcase or my rise vince McMahon has been removed from the game but will appear in historical footage. So both there motions, moves will still be in the game.

I agree. 90 pounds is way too heavy for a video game.
Especially if you don't buy the physical copy, how does a digital game weigh anything??
Computer games always cost less than consoles. That's what I've always noticed since I was a kid, I'm 38 now.
This is what I thought, but I've only noticed it with the last 2 wwe games now

The majority of the player base comes from consoles hence the higher pricing
Yeah that makes sense but it's still kinda ridiculous

PC's too expensive
Yeah, but console data doesn’t corrupt like pc does
Nothing beats the simplicity of consoles, they were designed for easy gaming, PC's were designed for word processing

Glad I live in the philippines the 40 years of WM is 89 USD lol.
Not getting it just play the old WWE games because one's you get 2k24 you're gonna be disappointed it's the same as last year.

I got 2k23 for £20 on steam six months ago but 2k22 was still full price
Literally makes no sense, and 2K22 isn't even on steam anymore either, literally there way of forcing you onto the new games.
