beaitoful coloured stone and not one leaf moved outside .... the peace and tranquility of this place is truly wonderful ... i could get to work on this ... particularly the garden!
Oh wow, that is the perfect house for what I would be looking for when I get around to it in a few years. Enough land to plant some trees and do landscaping, room for a workshop, room for guest bedrooms and terrace. Hopefully some of these still exist when its my turn to retire.
Stunning. I wish they had revealed more of the stone but love what they did reveal. As for the dowstairs rooms I would be having the two end basement units as seperate guest apartment. And the room with the boiler I would make into a summer kitchen next to a gorgeous terrace with a grape arbor for shade at the far end. Then I would eventually develop the cave area as well as the sheds. Especially the one that is a ruin right now. Not sure what it would be, perhaps a lounge area to sit back with a wine or a beer and watch the scenery change out of a large window.
I tought it would be sold , did see this one a long time ago !! Fantastic propperty, with that view, garden perfect size, potential downstairs... has too be sold , such a great place but ?
Love the videos, but please, please move the camera a little slower around. The fast movements (horizontal panning, tilting, zooming) make watching sometimes very unpleasant, it's nauseating. Perhaps an idea to use a camera gimbal. For the rest, keep up the good work.

Lots of construction to deal with underneath... how easy is it to find good, reliable construction workers in the area, apparently far from major hospital. How cold does it get, scarry if you get diarrhea at night, or worse...it would have been good to see the little town nearby and the surrounding areas of the property. Thanks!
Love the views. Looks like a very high quality restoration. The owners evidently found a good builder. Shame it was hazy for your visit today, but the views on a clear day must be outstanding 🙏

Fantastic village with all amenities. Nearest hospital is 10 minutes drive in Casoli but also Lanciano and Atessa! 2 doctor surgeries in village as well. Also 3 small supermarkets, Pharmacy, post office, hairdressers, flower shop, Ferramenta's, butchers, designer wear shop, garage, 2 bars, restaurants which is all easy to reach so not sure how anyone can say there isn't anything to do in the village!!!
The holes in the walls are Windows or for ventilation. The Basement area was for livestock was kept, or for drying hams etc.. You got to remember the property is probably about 800 years old.
This place is STUNNING! This is exactly what I’m looking for in my hopes of European retirement. My only concern would be how remote it seems to be. If I’ll be retiring abroad by myself, I need to know that social activities are close by.
Social activities? Like sliding on ice down a mountain? Shovelling snow? I reckon these are the activities you speak of...lol. Only joking. But you are a fool if you dont go and stay at these locations - Summer and Winter. Even in the UK, some of the mountain side properties look gorgeous, but living is very very dull. Nothing happens.
Looks perfect to me. I don't like people. 15 minutes to the nearest food, less than an hour to the nearest place of interest, and 1 neighbour? Wish I'd seen this video when it was put up because I would've bought this place.

I still can't believe the prices of so many of the homes you show, that are nice. The locations are fantastic. The proximity to so many other great places in addition. I live in America, Los Angeles area, and the prices of homes here for something comparable, if there is, are 5-8x the price. Or 500-800% more. That's quite a difference I would say. These properties are lower priced than some might think, but the taxes are high, and regulations are quite taxing. The economy is relatively poor due to excess bureaucracy, increasing desolation due to declining populations in the rural countryside.

Be very careful in Italy buying a property. I've heard many horror stories regarding purchasing in Italy. There are obviously hidden municipal / permit charges and other expenses that multiplies the advertised price many times over. This type of stone house goes for half million dollars in other parts of Italy and some other Mediterranean countries like Greece and Turkey. If the price is too low to be true, usually it is not true.
You have heard? So clearly have no experience because what you are saying is incorrect. When you say you have heard, can you share what you have heard about a property actually costing many times over the price? Always amazes me the stories that people come up with about italy, thankfully it is not true and millions enjoy the Italian lifestyle
Incorrect, A lot of these properties ARE cheap because of depopulation in these mountainous areas. If you purchase a property ANYWHERE, you do it through a lawyer and an estate agent. I am curious about these permit charges that cost 300,000 Euroes you speak of?? The property is on the market for 150,000 Euros and you said 'expenses that multiplies the advertised price many times over';. In any country renovating a property is very expensive. These one Euro homes usually cost 1400Euros\SqM to remodel. that is the cost of quality tradespeople, parts and labour. Also the currency in Italy is currently the Euro...and NOT Dollars...mmmmm
