I really enjoyed watching Yasmin dance. However, that level of breaking isn't going to get her far especially when going to a world final again opponent's that can show-off their own original unique styles & difficult movements to be a well rounded dancer. She kept it safe,short, & failed to stick her freeze 2:28 Compared to Nicka IF Jasmin adds some more explosive moves I think she can be a real problem maybe like a female bboy Nori who has well rounded style Flava power footwork freezes etc. Right now she's doing to many basic moves.
Yasmin was amazing, finally someone original and with her unique lavor on the competition and not trying to push herself into dancing like a bboy... Nicka was ok, just another young bgirl doing what young dancers do, lots of tricks and moves, they are still young, agile, lots of energy and enough free time to train several hours a day, but without bringing character or a mature understanding of the dance it's just moves that don't really say anything. Bgirls dancing like bboys no longer impress me... on the othe hand, powerful and unique women embracing their own style do.

Can any pro bboy or professional explain to me so details why Nicka beated Yasmin? I am very confused. I watched Olympic and still want to know why Nicka is winner, I saw she is very simple.. Yes Nicka's power moves are clean but Yasmin looks like more techniques and creative....way more small techniques... I don't understand why always Nicka get better points... Can any judges please explain to me ?
Nicka so much more skilled. It feels like the world has gotten worse at breakdancing consistently since the early 2000s, watching old break dance battles really makes you wonder what the heck happened to the community
Good lord. Nicka annihilated her. That first round was super dope. I like how she always seems to be listening to the music and her top rocks look really good with a unique style but also keeps a strong bgirl essence within it. She was really in the groove. That spin she did to the drum roll at 1:05 was dope, how she hit those last 3 horns at 1:14 to finish the spins was hella dope, on top of that spin in itself being sick. And those other two spin moves she did that round was hella stylish. Only thing I think Yasmine got her in was footwork. But even then, it was only short flashes of footwork in the first round. But in those short flashes, it looked like she was weightless when doing it.

And while tops aren't the end all be all, I disagree on the tops because whatever Yaz was doing was some freestyle type of stuff that someone who doesn't break would do in a battle against a bgirl. Her drops were dope, though. But she puts too much extra stuff into her tops to where the bgirl element is almost non-existent. Looks dope, but not for a bgirl battle. Nicka schooled her on that. Straight Bgirl style with the arms wide out and swinging em in and out, big steps and movements and doing things like pointing up as if to say "watch this" before going down. Just made it look even more apparent how different a bgirl/bboy dancing on their feet is. Power moves. Yasmins was pretty much non existent. She did whatever that was she tried in the 2nd round, and did two freezes, and Nickas second round end freeze one upped those by how she went into it. The spins Nicka did were just incredibly stylish. And in a bgirl battle, one not doing any power moves vs someone who's doing controled and cool looking ones shows a difference in skill. It made it look like a bgirl going up against a non bgirl. She's lucky she didn't go up against 671, because she wouldn't have been as nice about it.
i wouldnt say anyone "annhialated" anyone. nicka was techinically stronger - showed more variety and groundwork- but yasmins toprock and individual style alone was so good it made it compteitive
