    Please find time to do a trailer setup video if you can. I’m interested to see what type of features your setup has and what all you have added to it to make it more usable for track days, and or race days.

    Brian I enjoy your videos, if there is any video I need to see before I do a job and I look it up and there are 100 selections of how to do the job, if your one of them I’ll watch yours and go do the job. Not that it’s ever necessary for me but there have been times where I say wow that would make it easier. Your spot on on describing things in detail properly and thoroughly.

    Hey Van. It was between Pitbull & T-rex. You made my decision easier. Ever seen this set up with 2 Pitbulls on an F-150 on the track? Is it even recommended to drive with the bed door down? Thanks in advance.

    This is great innovation on the part of PitBull. I don't like their price, but for moving a bike, this may be worth the cost. Do they recommend this for open trailers? Or does it not matter?

    • @sportbiketrackgear

    So for people like me that hauls bike for a living I would have to purchase many of these for the different bikes I'd be hauling on my trailer? You don't have universal fits?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Correct, based on the design this requires a set of pins that fit into the rear axle. While there may be some crossover it is very limited. Most bikes require a unique set of pins. - Van

    If i install this in a pick up bed, what stops the front end from bouncing up? Or is that not much of a concern?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  ปีที่แล้ว

      We have over 100,000 miles logged with these and can tell you there is no better way to haul a motorcycle. The front end will stay planted and the forks will absorb any of that energy. - Van

    The ninja 300 doesn't have a hollow axle on one side. How would the pin fit on it?

    • @danielpollock28
      @danielpollock28 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Xtina K The bike specific pin kits accommodate to how the bikes are, so it should be fine. I'm guessing the pin for the 300 probably covers the axle like a socket

    • @pitbullproducts
      @pitbullproducts 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Ninja 300 kit features a "socket pin" on both sides, with an additional cup washer on one side that gets mounted semi-permanently under the head of the axle. This will make up for the rather shallow hex on that side of the bike. The socket pin will then engage both the shallow hex *and* the cup washer on that side.

    Would like to use this system in my trailer in conjunction with my front wheel chock that is already in the trailer. Because the rear axle may move due to chain tension adjustments - will the pit bull restraint work if the front wheel is in a wheel chock but the rear could move due to chain adjustments?

    • @nathanwiens108
      @nathanwiens108 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you remove the chock? You won't need it anymore. The front of the bike will vary in distance from the rear since you're moving the rear axle when doing chain adjustments.

    • @Newtonbaseball12

      I'd e-mail Pit Bull directly. I'd assume that the existing Daytona/2016 STR pins would fit as nothing has changed axle wise that I'm aware of.
      My buddy and I were responsible for Pit Bull revising the R3 pins when Yamaha revised them midway through the 2015 model year and they didn't fit my R3. They're quick on responding and correcting things.
