Wires used in this demonstration:
All solid dead-soft sterling silver
- 21g square for base wires
- 22g half round for binding wire
- 28g round to add beads
3mm beads

I enjoyed watching and at the end I think the color was needed, but I think the twisted wire being beaded and the single one twisted atop.
It still looks nice though.

I think you shoul cross it under and bring it under the third twisted wire. It keeps the flow with the other wores. If you cross it like you're doing, it makes it look too busy.

The way your camera is set up you see two little of what you’re trying to do in a space that’s already small. It’s hard to see. It’s hard for you to keep in frame. You need to turn your camera the other direction.

Peridot is August birthstone not February I know because my daughter's are born in August and peridot is they're birthstone.

Do you realize you're wrapping the wire the wrong way? You should wrap going away from you. Not toward you.

does it actually matter either way if you wrap it towards or away from you? I'm new to wire wrapping
It doesn't matter. The weave actually looks the same on both sides. Either way works just fine!
It's art! There is no "wrong" way. If you are consistent with your wrapping direction ,it will be fine...you do you 😉
