I just wanna say, it's absolutely insane that microsoft word and powerpoint are still the things all schools use, even the teachers at my school hate them and say "if you have an account in any other site that lets you make presentations use that"
Yeah, but even using the fastest methods I could find, I was still getting only about 2 seconds per frame, as opposed to 2 frames per second, when rendering an NES Tetris game. The entire Tetris game was perfectly fine and ran at good speeds except the rendering which just bogged the whole thing down to a crawl. I also had some trouble connecting up the arrow keys so ended up using developer shortcut things, however at least I had working textures! The way I handled the screen was by making conditional formatting rules so certain numbers would be certain colors then shrunk a 256*256 range of cells down small enough to all be visible at once, then used a fancy formula thing MAKEARRAY that turned out to be a lot faster than VBA for applying the same piece of code to a large range of cells.
Haven't you installed Windows 11 23H2 as that file explorer isnt the new version which was introduced in that update with new design or did you modify explorer
