Man, he is insightful in seeing what the Bible teaches and then making practical application.

Very insightful, it could be a worry that when all the young enthusiastic Christians move to the city, those in rural areas get left behind. I live in a very small town and the churches are slowly running into the ground because all young Christians go to uni in a city and never come back.

Such a great sermon covering from a Christian context the divisive questions surrounding how far we should and/or can adapt to culture along with the more important question of where we must resist!

Making the city our home and enjoying its opportunities while preaching the Gospel and not becoming assimilated into other world views is something we are increasingly called to do as the world urbanized. Also churches are declining everywhere whether we visit rural or urban areas but they're not even keeping up with population growth in many urban areas (as Timothy Keller points out). In America, both rural and urban areas have few practicing Christians but many nominal ones as well. The future of Christianity looks bleak from many areas and perspectives but the city is where we must preach and in a way where we present its exclusivity and uniqueness in the correct way.

I live in Ecuador and many of the Christians are in the cities. In North America, many Christians still live outside of the big cities. I would suppose that most of Christianity in the global South is city dominated too.

      Andrew Day,
Great perspective. Jesus's disciples preached mainly within urban areas and many of the earliest Christians were to be found in the cities. The rural areas and the military groups were more into fertility gods and different deities so put up more opposition to Christianity. The trends have definitely changed in a way but we can't avoid not ministering within cities due to how they're the only remaining interconnected places and since most of the global population is now moving in that direction.

Hermano les pido ayuda debido a que en Chile no hay justicia. Hay un círculo de religiosos que han hecho mucho daño a la iglesia.

I'm feeling a little skeptical of having a woman recite a passage in teaching. Women are not to work in the staff of the church because their duties are separate from men's.

You’re gonna be real disappointed finding out who the Apostle Paul sent to the church in Rome to read his letter to them.
