Here in the states What you call a low loader we call a step deck. Low bed we call a "RGN" Removable Goose Neck. I am starting to see Faymonville trailers here in states. One company has a couple. One is 6 axle all steering. What pretty sweet to see it here
Tough luck Sandy. Killer when it's not your own trailer too. Tread First Bury St Edmunds are our local fitter so know exactly where you were, long way from home. Keep it going, it's tough at the top!!
Hey Sandy was thinking about you yesterday wondering when the next video will be. then i woke up this morning and find this. Thanks mate keep up the good work love your content.
Hey bud just wanted to let you know the correct name of the middle (ram) is called a ERC, it contains oil and gas and acts as a big gas stut to assist the hydraulics when lifting
aright sandy ? good video yet again ! i know its not your trailer but those tires on that might be a lower speed and load rating , might have less hassle with higher rated tires for loads over 25 tons ? dont know what you have on your tyres ! sorry if this comment is a waste of your time haha , hope it is of some help to you ! keep doing what you do , youre doing well 👍
Morning 🌄 Sandy, great 👍 video 📹 that was quite the beast 💪 you were carrying, pain in butt blow outs, do the tyres not scuff up when you showed us how the trailer extends outwards???
How does a business build in protection for this into costing? I know in many cases a blow out could be the profits gone especially on traction work. But this would surely render the job a loss. Genuinely curious
Just as a point i dont know if it will effect your routing but in CMPG at least they are asking for flags on the side of any arms sticking out from between the ramps in addition to the one at the back.

50mph ?😉 Mega film Sandy, watched it all the way through, super👌 I call my step frame a ‘Low-Loader’ because that’s what my customers & colleagues in Construction call it, all they want is the digger not a lesson in heavy haulage 🤙 BTW I started out in a Leyland Freighter (a drop side flat) not dissimilar to your friend’s Constructor, funny to think of them as classics now… Looking out for your next adventure, thank you for posting 🤙
I know you’re running heavy, but still, both tyres that blew out were both hankooks and seemed to have blown in the EXACT same manner, could be something to think about
Many years ago we used to take fly ash from Newcastle up to Scotland 🏴 this is 1991 getting paid£ 35 a tonne which was amazing money back then but and and their is a big but when we loaded the fly Ash it’s was Still hot and you had to drive over the hot Ash to get loaded by the shovel Guarantee you would have @ least 1 blow out maybe 2 on the way loaded..due the the damage the heat put into the tyres 🛞just for that 10min it took to load yeah we went through the well wash etc etc but the damage was done we done we done that run for 1 week maybe 2 in the End we had to say no it actually cost us mega money we lost £1000s probably 10s of 1000s back then my grandad had 15 artics pulling 38T and @ least 20 8 wheel tippers doing 1 run a day Their and back got to the point we had trucks parked up in lay-bys waiting for Tyreservices to source more tyres as we had used their supply just turned into a disaster in the End
Nice truck🎉
U are so cool

Brilliant episode. Have a gander at FSC Trucking. He mounted a Go pro. In the big plant cab. Forward facing. Was excellent visual footage. Mick London

Gillespie's Merc couple year back on the a66 he braked but load slid 56 mph with stgo cat 3
Rich men or Richmond , classic

Lorry’s class and videos are class. Keep her lit 🤙
Morning 🌄 Sandy, great 👍 video 📹 that was quite the beast 💪 you were carrying, pain in butt blow outs, do the tyres not scuff up when you showed us how the trailer extends outwards???
It’s only the bed that slides out
Class video Sandy shame about the blowouts nothing you could of done there unfortunately. 🤙🤙🤙
Passed you on the M74 on Tuesday night. Trucks looking spot on 👌

Great video as always mate!! Love your content
Hi sandy
I was always told not to go above 45 mph at that sort of weight as the day gets warmer to protect the tyres. Either way good job mate.👍
It's just stupid who drives with so little weight permanently only 70 kmh or 45 mph These are simply bad tires....!
@@themondaydriver3670 the law says stgo 2 max speed is 40mph on motorway
@@gregmorgan5332 What kind of stupid regulations do you have over there for such small transports 🤣🤣
@@themondaydriver3670it’s not to do with width it’s the weight. STGO Cat 1 is max GVW of 50 tonnes, Cat 2 is GVW 80 tonnes and so on.
Hi Sandy shame about tyres....Bridgestone at 140 psi cuts a lot of the problems out been there done that.....

Could’ve done a walk round on our two new LH60’s at Bathgate! 🤣
Next week 😂🤙🏻
Outer 8 look new on good rims the inner 8 look like they came off an old trailer rims scabby

Next time get Continental s
I see me @12:50, gave u the beacon but guessing u never seen
Blowing tyres is always a unexpected pain i alwaya seem to have it in the middle of nowhere
there shud be a valve to release the air from that strut
Probably but you need to recalibrate it properly

Great video sandy, 100% agree with walk round check at the end of your shift it can save alot of hassle. Hope to catch you at truckfest
See you there

In future, could you put the price of 2 tyres on top of the rate on a job like that?
No don’t work like that am afraid
Good evening sandy been out all day car show Sunday morning ect that's some trailer mate ,... 1st time seeing this trailer
2 blowouts is very unlucky. But shit happens. Rig looks well.
Good tune 👌
They told you it’s just been thro mot ? Did you see the certificate? Ask them about an urban trailer , see what they say 😂😂😂

when will u be going up to the v8 Volvo
Soon
@@Sandy-Flat-Out-Flat-Broke do u know what date because me and my pal would love to see ur truck
Maybe tyres were under inflated when you picked it up
No it’s was what I explained in the video
filling the tires with nitrogen helps keep the tires cooler
Mate I was actually thinking this after the job and interested in trying it
Feel your pain with tyres, double blowout on Friday, took any profit out of the job !
Videos just keep getting better, Sandy! eh, I'm sure you meant 40 mph on CAT2 though aye? ;)
I did mate am terrible with video and words, Just shows am not scripted and in the moment
