    This looks wonderful. What of I don't have a dutch oven?

    • @letssummondinner

      Use a bread pan and put a cookie sheet over the top until its time to brown it up, then remove. You just want to trap the heat inside. (this may make more than one loaf if using a regular bread loaf pan so you may want to split it into two) ☺

      @@letssummondinner do the bread pan and cookie sheet need to be preheated like the Dutch oven? Also, would the same baking times and temperatures be used if we’re splitting it into 2?

    • @letssummondinner
      @letssummondinner  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@theevickyb I honestly don't know about the cooking times, my best suggestion there would be to check it about half way through. I would preheat them so you get that nice crust. I believe the internal temp for bread is 190F so if you have a food thermometer you could temp it for doneness. Then just leave it in to brown until you are satisfied with the crust.

    • @letssummondinner
      @letssummondinner  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tinamynlakhani9157 A couple things that could cause that is the yeast not being fresh or the dough being too dry. Your flour can behave differently depending on the temperature or humidity where you live. If you test your yeast with a little sugar and warm water and it foams up, next time try adding just a little less flour.

    Hi! I love your recipe. Mine came out nicely. Thanks for sharing. It is really big. Any suggestions how to store so it doesn’t get hard and chewy after a day?

    • @letssummondinner

      I am not really sure because it never lasts long in my home (I have a large family lol). Usually if I have left over bread I will put it in a bag and push as much air out as possible then store in a bread box. I imagine you could slice and freeze this for use as needed. Maybe even store in the refrigerator, though I am not sure what that would do to the texture. Maybe you could divide the dough in half and make two loaves? One for fresh eating and one for freezing?

    • @letssummondinner
      @letssummondinner  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Because of the cheese I personally would not leave it out all night. I would let it cool completely and then pop whatever is left into the fridge. Personal preference I guess. I would imagine the temperature of your home makes a difference as well.

    • @letssummondinner
      @letssummondinner  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have bread pans you can put your loaf in one of them and cover it with the other. Your loaf will be oblong instead of round but it should work just as well. Just uncover at the end so it has a chance to brown.

    • @letssummondinner
      @letssummondinner  ปีที่แล้ว

      Scoring your bread dough allows the dough to expand neatly as it rises during baking. If you don't slash or score your dough your bread loaf may have a blow out on one side and be weirdly shaped.

      Oh no! I make this all the time. I wonder what happened. I say in my videos a lot that depending on the weather where you live sometimes flour can act differently and you may require more or less. Brand of flour, type of flour can all make a difference too. I really hope you will try it again. Maybe to adding a bit more flour.
