Hello, sir greetings I have a question for you I would like to know if the SeKonic L758c works in step of third or if it can be programmed so that functions in this mode thank you very much
when the sekonic 758 cine will be updated? should i buy one, or wait for the new version?
Is the cine version still useful for still photography or do the extra features get in the way?
The L-758D has been discontinued and replaced with the L-858D. To answer you question it does have all the same Photo features as the non cine L-758D. The L-858 has an entire host of new features over both of them, and will have a Godox solution this year.

The first step says the T and the Sun would be in boxes. Meter only has a T and lightning bolt in a box. Or Just the Sun alone and the T disappears . I can't seem to get the SUN AND T IN THE BOXES. What should I do?
Go to the sun with f/s on the left, turn clockwise and f/s will eventually be replaced by the boxed t. In this video he's basically doing so in reverse at the start

Does it have a PAL standard also?
180 degree shutter for some situations but the other standard is 172.8
The meter suggests that 172 is the closest it gets to the European standard? Can this be fixed with a firmware update?
Missing the .8 shutter angle is frustrating when investing in such a precision instrument for this task.

This is about the L-508. After taking a reading, and you rotate the jog wheel, what do the new numbers mean?
I apologize I'm not 100% sure what you are talking about. If you move the job wheel after taking a reading you will be changing your Apeture or shutter speed or iso deepening one the mode you are in, and the other number will change relative to that.
@@SekonicGlobal Yes, that is what I meant. Would the new numbers given after moving the jog wheel work under the current light conditions?

I am following the directions at 0:37 - however when I hold MODE and turn the wheel it will not give me an option where the T is in a box when the Ambient Mode is selected. Only three choices are given when Ambient is selected and the T in a box is not one of them. Is there some step I am missing?

Not to worry this is an easy one. You have custom functions number 4 set to 2 instead of 0. Power down the meter and power on while holing the mode button. Scroll to custom function number 4 and turn it to 0. Happy New Year!

It's automatic. It will illuminate when the ambient light is below a level where the screen would be difficult to read.
