It's nice to hear this piece without the vocals for once because we can see how it is put together. Great work to the guy who posted this.

So interesting how you're doing this on the Stage without 'scenes' a la the MODX.
Btw I tend to go for a big poly synth patch in the chorus anyway, even though it's bot really on the record!

There are 3 independent synths that can be loaded with sample maps. I’ve got Synth A loaded with the Talkbox samples on the left hand side. Synth B has a sample layer with 2 zones with overlapping sounds with combined Scraper/Strings and Digital Stabs/Strings. Since the key zones are fixed to C and F notes with a maximum of 3 split points, the splits are baked into the sample map. Synth C is the Chorus Bell layer. I use the pedal and the wheel to control volumes or morph sounds with to facilitate the equivalent of scenes.

Where did you get the Talkbox samples?

    Hi Narf,
So your talkbox sounds are not playing the "sung" notes but just using keys as pads/buttons to trigger the samples?

Yes they’re one shot samples that have been setup to be triggered close to the bass notes and are not matched to the actual pitch of Richie Sambora’s talkbox notes.
