One thing I deeply appreciate about Tobe is he ASKS people WHAT they MEAN by what they say. I love that he wants true and honest answers and not empty compliments. Say what you mean and mean what you say. He holds peers accountable with respect and humbleness.
The fact that Tobe has his family around him to keep him grounded speaks volumes, loves what he brings and a very talented lyricist. Man's is hilarious too 😂😂😂 and an amazing storyteller. 15:14 especially the football 🏈 story.
The fact that I sat here and watched this WHOLE interview is a tribute both to Tobe and Fat AND Uninterrupted. Flowers to everyone; stay encouraged and keep doing what y'all doing; don't DARE stop. Man, y'all are onto something big...
Yo this is the best positive interviews in a long time. Thank yall for the transparency. We need more of this! Shoutout to the OG #etthehiphop preacher! Tobe, fat & the fam. We love you. Congrats on the newest blessing 🫶🙌🏾
DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPEEEE!!! As a black woman watching this and a fan of Tobe and Fat, this was awesome to watch. Love the honesty, authenticity, and culture discussed. Much love Kings, glad I bumped into this. Just subscribed. -Poetiq PS manifesting a collab, would love to produce a record. I'm the illest, I'll meet you at the top.
"Slightly nudge in the right direction, firmly, stand on whatever is you said, don't stand hard" ~Tobe Proverbs~ Men in marriage please understand this when speaking to us !!!!
I don’t know but my father was gentle he never yelled at me or was aggressive towards me!! He always lead with love like I was a princess and yes he’s 🇳🇬
Loved the honesty and transparency. This is the first podcast that I've ever watched an episode from beginning to end. The dialogue between the hosts and the Tobe just flowed. These conversations are refreshing to watch and much needed in our community.
I found this podcast when I was at work and heard tobie voice and knew it was him. The love he has for his wife and kids inspires the F*^K outta me man! Frfr s/o to all y’all man!
I remember realizing after college sports that my friends didn't invite me to things because for decades I'd never been free. Had to re-teach people how to treat me. I also had to learn what normal people do between 3-6pm. I'd never been free during that time of the day.
One of the best episodes I’ve saw so far. Real dead , genuine conversation spoken in the manner I like to be spoken to in when I’m chillin with the fellas
38:00 man, I had the exact same thought with my kids. I lost alot of the empathy I have for people who don't take care of their kids, especially men. I know people have there situations and all that, drugs, abuse, mental health.....I still empathize with that. But to abandon your children physically or emotionally or mentally or spiritually, because there's levels to abandonment, I have no feel sorry for you when it comes to that part. I could not imagine walking away from mine.
Amazing episode, love the energy between brothers. Love that Tobe kept it real with the "Didn't think the show would be this life😅😂" . Keep it up and much love 🙌🏾
I'm ET Erick Torres lol but Real shit Tobe, remember when I was making music in my room and you and your brother and your partners use to come to the apartment and I was just jamming. I told you football don't last music does.
I love exchange between Ahrii, Iman and guest. This interview really solidified the uniqueness between their brotherly dynamic. Just would like less interruption from Iman. More allowance of Ahrii thoughts. He has really solid and balanced questions.
💣Just an honest and warm conversation. No one asking manipulative questions for ratings. This is what starting independent shows is all about. Displaying the REAL. Without the fluff. I just subscribed 🙏 #keepitup
This is so real my dad threw us to the wolfs my grandma hated him for how he dogged us my mama tried but she never got with the right man I have four kids I would never abandon them and I tell them all the time your grandpa was a loser he didn't care about us he was a weak man they never met him he died 2 years ago you don't run off on your kids whenever your life is bad
Best podcast episode I listened to. Just talking real shit. With me being a married man and a father, this the type of positive reinforcement you would like to listen to.
Tobe and Fat are BEAUTIFUL and their music is like a balm to the soul of the culture right now. WE NEED THEM. ♥️🖤💚

It didn't even feel like I was here for over an hr! Loved this interview. It's refreshing to hear black men talk about their families like this.
