lets not forget what career this guy has gone through, one of the best kickboxing legends ever. time for him to announce his last fight and throw in the towel.
Lets not forget that if you had 10 million years ago and now you have almost nothing.. then your not a millionair anymore.. He ruined his own legacy.. thats what it is
Let's not forget the disrespect his fans bring to the sport. Let's not forget he cancels a fight and does not bother to speak in English. Glad he quits
Badr just has the same issue as all big successful fighters... Its very hard to stop, especially when you can make so much money from having "just one more" fight. He has such a huge following and people almsot expect him to transform back in to 20's Badr in the ring, but it isnt going to happen. Hes done his time and his body has had enough, theres zero shame in that, it happens to everyone. He should focus on pther things, maybe bring up some young fighters of his own or start some brands, he has so much popularity he can be successful from that for the rest of his life.
Whenever I see Badr Hari being the main subject I always get a "What if" thought. That being, "What if Badr Hari never did that foul move on Remy Bojanski." 😟
Respect for the fighter he has been and all achievements he accomplished. Now it's time for him to retire. His punch resistance is zero and he gets injured in almost every fight and just can't win anymore. A great fighter in his days, but unfortunately his best days are gone. Respect for Badr.
@@unknownunknown3692 He sayd nothing about throwing hard punches. Instead he's talking about taking Harder Punches in the locker room than Hari "endured" in the ring knocking him down. I agree that's weird..!
Badr Hari has not been interested in fighting for a long time. He only goes to the bell for the money and it shows in every move he makes during the fight. Absolutely unmotivated Badr Hari. Give Badr motivation and you will show a completely different person.
badr keep going! people just show the ingratitude of human being ; u re fighting for you , you family , your legacy , for morocco... u have nothing to lose its your last sprint ! the true fans just want to see you win for one last time bcze we re already proud of you and what you did for our country .
There is some career we can not believe that is reaching their end, just like that , every think have a start have also an and , only God ho have the infinite life, He was and he still one of the best BADR HARI a name for a decade of experience and success
He underestimated Uku completely - the guy is a power house. Badr would be better off against Mcsweeney. I knew it from the start of the announcement. These eastern-europe boys want to make out a name for themselfs. You do that by beating folks like badr.
I'm afraid that was the only time he really, kind of, prepared for this fight... (based on how he looked and fought in the ring). He completely underestimated his opponent. Maybe never even studied Uku's earlier fights. Somehow I can understand. He still lives in the thoughts: 'nobody ever has been as good as I am'. In the mean time, all those years, unfortunately for him, every kickboxer evolved while Badr stayed and enjoyed his own 'best of the world' dreamlive... If he steps ups his game, he still can be there...
@@PepijnSchoemakerWebinars Badr was sleeping for too long. And his history does'nt make him a populair fighter either. If he wants to get back, i'd say 24/7 devotion to kickboxing and training again. He has his age and time against him compared to these younger, faster and sometimes stronger fighters. At best he might make it again to the top 3 board of Glory - but a match against Rico, Jamal or any other high skilled and lasting fighter is pretty much out of the question. Badr has a weak chin - it takes one good punch and he's wobbling on his feet. Everyone knows this by now.
@@unknownunknown3692 I hear what you say. That was the case with the other fights. This time it was the calfs... Notice the 5 kicks he had to eat in de first round. The moment he mentally broke, those kicks tko'd him...
what made Hari successful in his early career was his aggression. His new style of methodical fighting is what brings him these failures. I know, his age does not allow for that explosive style anymore, but that's what made him successful. Maybe it's time to hang the gloves :(
That's not true. Hari used to be very good at picking his opponets apart early in his career( before 2009). Even later on he showed this ability, ( londt , Rico 1, even First 5 minutes against overeem). However, now he gases out and can't take adversity at all. Also his counter punch ability is gone as well and he doesn't stay tight enough nor with his defence or his own attacks. In this fight with UKU he actually fought too aggressive. If you watch uku fights, uku has little to no ability to land anything unless you are the aggressor. Hari should have used this superiour reach, height, footwork and straight punches to stay on the outside and pick him apart. Anyway, even though he should have beaten uku if he fought smart, he ain't beating anyone legit. He should retire.
The only issue is that period between events and big matches, it makes an effort to keep the level up, and training hard for a long period then a "Big event " what's destroyed an high level athlete, we also gonna witness the same thing with the new champs
He used to have the best jab in heavyweight, and started the first minute of each round with lots of kicks, then bring the jab. Whoever told him to stop doing that is an idiot.
The devastating jab and lightning kicks of Badr Hari 2005-2019 are not in use anymore. He thinks he can just trade right hands with younger, faster guys, have no kicking defense and survive. Nope.
Bullshit statistics. Rico called him out on the Joe Rogan podcast, saying he looked everywhere for Badr fights and could only find 50, maybe 60 KOs. All the others are from fights so unimportant nobody even bothered to film them.
@@M4ruta De rest from the numbers is probably from the youth fights. Wikipedia says he have done about 50 amateur fights at the age of 18. It is BS to count the children fights and amateur fights at his pro statics.
