They’re good to get back into magic with they have some really nice lands ands hold a solid rare to common ratio and some pretty sweet mythics

The 35$ repack commander decks Walmart was selling from MJ holdings in the glass case with 2 booster packs, every card from them fail the light test? Are they fake? I can read the text from the other side with light and my other cards from same set only let a small colored circle of light through

DoT was the most powerful set i know of ...black red was the best colors to play since dash is great at dodging sorcery removal....i wish i had chosen that colors over blue white.. but i love nahiri and dragonlord Oujatai .

Evolving wild is a very common card but it is quite good for multicolored decks

My number 1 favorite set is dragons of tarkir next to fate reforged and sets with lots of angels.
I do love strixhaven .since there is 5 enemy color dragon lords . Where was Nahiri? And sarkahn. I wish strixhaven was on tarkir .but a different far away part of the world.

I wasnt into magic back then, whatre the good pulls from this set?ive got an atarkas command but thats the only value i know about
Any of the commands, particularly Atarka’s and Kolaghan’s, as well as the dragonlords themselves. Sarkhan Unbroken can be pretty nice. Volcanic Vision, Sunscorch Regent, Ruthless Deathfang, Rending Volley, Roast, Savage Ventmaw, Seismic Rupture, Virulent Plague, Shaman of Forgotten Ways, Avatar of the Resolute, Harbinger of the Hunt, Encase in Ice and Necromaster Dragon can be nice for casual commander. Sadly there aren’t too many good pulls value wise from the khans block, khans of tarkir itself only has the fetch lands as good pulls and everything else is essentially worthless (monetarily). I’m opening several of the boxes from this block soon but that’s with the knowledge that I’m likely not making my money back, it’s only because I like this block and I prefer opening boxes to buying singles.

They're not transparent. You're just ripping the layer of foil off of the layer of the orange plastic when you open.
