It kinda looked like a scene at a finale where the winner belts out her winning piece then all losers come together up on stage with her to celebrate. The only missing is the confettis. Well thats how this scene has made me feel.

She was WAY too emotional to be forced to do this. She did marvelous considering the situation.
seems like when she was singing it with them on stage hitting those high notes and whistle they were like bowing their head for embarrassment. lol like "listen to me now, Im singing.. eat all my high notes" nailed it! hehe

those VOTERS are not quite know how to pick good singers... ITS CRAZY... in all seasons of American Idol.. this season 11 is the best... PHILLIP PHILLIPS is the American Idol... but JESSICA SANCHEZ is the World Idol... she is the next Whitney Houston or the Soul Diva... I SWEAR SHES AMAZING & PHENOMENAL... God Bless you girl...

Jessica Sanchez is the best contestant ever on American Idol’s 15-season run on Fox. American Idol season 11 would’ve been boring without her. She’s in a league of her own. Her prowess was unheard of in the 20th century.
Jessica was ABSOLUTELY the best of Season 11, but "the best ever" is definitely a stretch. She's amazing, but she definitely lacks the power and control we see in Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Tori Kelly... all were also on American Idol, and are definitely much more gifted vocalists with more control over their belts and vocal runs.

Jessica Sanchez auditioned for American Idol at a younger age than Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, and other you mentioned. She and Haley Reinhart (the best of season 10) have more potential than they do. She was a vocal powerhouse in training at the time. It’s that she was neglected by the music industry. She made bolder song choices than the ones you mentioned did. She has the mold of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. She sings live as if her studio recordings need no autotune, multiple takes, or studio editing, or studio assistance. When she was on Idol her vocal ranged was compared to JHud. She’s way better now than she was on Idol. Season 11 was rigged, and seasons 1 and 3 were not. Tori Kelly doesn’t count because she didn’t make it to the voting.

And if you compare her vocally right now (she's almost 28) to where Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson were vocally at that same age-- there is NO comparison. They both sing her under the table. Tori Kelly didn't make it far on American Idol when she auditioned at 18, but she STILL has much better control and agility than Jessica does.
Jessica was my absolute favorite on her season. But the reality is: she has a very limited range (she can't sing that low, and her upper belt maxes out at like an E5) unless she shouts, and her vocal runs are usually pretty sloppy. She IS amazing! But she really needs training to reach her full potential. But right now? She is like a teenager driving a ferrari. She doesn't know how to use her voice as well. She loses control a LOT, and tries to cover it with messy runs that are usually just sliding down a scale. I could give you specific examples if you want them. Jessica Sanchez is nowhere NEAR a Whitney or Mariah. But she's definitely somewhere close to a Christina Aguilera. Both of them have trouble mixing past a D5, and both of them have more potential than they will reach unless they learn technique. But neither of them are better singers than Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, or Tori Kelly. Neither of them are on Whitney or Mariah's level.
@@davidhill8565 Also, as I already mentioned, her vocal range is NOT close to Jennifer Hudson's. Jennifer regularly belts out F5 - A5 EASILY. Jessica can really only get up to an E5 without a HEAVY growl and chest shout.

She’s great at doing uptempos, such as “Levitating” by Dua Lipa. JHud didn’t make any bold song choices. Kelly Clarkson is mainly country.

Yikes...I still can't believe this Fabulous Songer can sing this Perfectly to Perfection...I wish a record producer can find her a ballad to belt out...this is her strongest type of song...Jessica is still young and mature and has that Platnium Voice same class as Legend Whitney..She would concure Pacific Rim Asia and the United Emerates...my only example would be how Rock Group Queen was a World wide Smash hit Group and was less popular in America after 1982...but was the premiere Group in the World...Jessica could be a Worldwide Hit....she just needs a hit ballad...she's got the Pristine perfect voice where she articulates every word and her stage performance is so proifessional.
Hollie told Jessica, " Come on now, you knew you (Jessica) weren't going anywhere." Then explained how she chuckled at the absurdity of the situation " I...I when I knew it was Jessica, I chuckled, like... I chuckled". Hollie and the fellow contestants knew the only thing to do was use the save. Jessica was still too shaken up at the situation to take it all in.

I grew up with this song, and I sing it all the time, and to see Jessica sing it so well really was an awesome moment for me. I didn't think it was that well-known.
ALSO- I LOVE how much Joshua's getting into her performance (I'm willing to bet he probably heard this song a couple times growing up, too)!! He REALLY deserves to be in the finale with her.

not really my friend Elise was the first one to welcome her when Jessica was pushed by "jlow" towards the other contestants I guess they have grown to like each other it's just difficult maybe for her to console since she is always in the bottom three,I love Jessica but Elise also sings amazingly and I guess she needs the consoling cause a lot of us are already rooting for Jess :+)

Best season ever. I remember the tip 13 and was a fan of a good majority of them. I remeber this day like it was yesterday. The bottom 3 was garbage and Jessica slayed it. Rhiyanne you are right. 1st time that's because she should have never been voted off. But that's our fault. The girl is Amazing. As far as the other contestants well you never know how people react to situations. Maybe they were happy to see her go this way they would have a better chance. But with the save gone only God knows what went thru their heads. J will do great. In one of her interviews she said she wanted to give back to her parents for their support. She's in a position now. Amazing

This is not the first time my favorite finalist was saved by the judges. Previously it was Michael Lynche back in season 9, who landed in 4th place. He is the second highest place save recipient. Their respective winners Lee DeWyze and Phillip Phillips will be forgotten and turn out to be an embarrassment.
