Wow nice rig. They have come a long way from the 1983 G.M.C Astro cabover with a 8V92 Detroit and a 13 speed and 2/60 air conditioning and armstong windows. Thank you for sharing your time with us out here in. God Bless You.
Tanks for the tour of the new tractors Larry. Both look really nice. That's crazy to get a hammer claw in your tire btw.. When you "hammer down", you take it literally! lol Have a great night my friend..
Disney Fan And then like the next month or so, I’m going to go over to the trucking company are used to be the mechanic at. I built the owner a custom 1972 Mac cruise liner. I stopped in and talk to him couple weeks ago asking if I could do a video about it and he said no problem so waiting for the weather to warm up
Thanks for showing the Intl. I slip seated and drove about thirty Cascadias 2020-2022 and only liked one of them. All got very loose steering after the first 10 to 20 miles warming period. I currently drive a 2016 intl. and it drives like a dream.
Thanks for the tour Larry! Kinda enjoy the bunk sleepers, more room to stand and stretch! But liking the cummins motor in the international. Can't say nothing bad about ether trucks really. But thanks for the video, be safe out there my friend!
Hello Mr Larry them j.b.huunt inmodal trucks are rolling in the k.c Plant in Paris Texas today be safe out there on your travels from Paris Texas and keep on trucking
I like the new international suppose to get one in November not big on the automatic but oh well and your not joking about trying to sleep their with all the horn honking but be safe Larry and good luck getting out of there tonight
I use to pick up these refrigerated 53 foot containers . They came from japan. Really nice containers. Brand new almost. They had some sort of medical supllies in them. We use to take them over to Indiana . This guy I use to run with didn't like paying tolls I liked him because he liked to fly. so we would leave at about 300am and go down through the city and catch the Lincoln Ford highway and run into 94. I asked the warehouse guys if they found anything in the refers when the opend them up ? ( mainly Japanese cigarette butts ) . This guy told me he opened a trailer and a bat flew ou. A Japanese bat. He told me it eventually got to the outside. Oh well)
Nice little truck. Kinda plain Jane but it would work for me. I like freightliner. I wonder how big of a motor they got in them. And, a new truck is a new truck
I use to park along that fence for over 12 years then to shop took most of the spaces. If they ask you to pull a reefer I doubt if you could axle out 38,000 lbs. We had a shipper up by Green Bay that shipped pickles it mite of been Bay Valley they sent a local driver for it because it was in a reefer.
Hello Larry I just want to congratulate you on you make very good videos you need to take Johnny out and showing how to make a good video you get tired of seeing them white lines go by and by and by I did that for over 30 years I've seen enough of the white lines you do an excellent job on your videos keep up the good work
Perfect video. Thanks. My company is now selling both 2018 freightliner and 2018 international. I only drove freightliner so far. I have a couple corrections on the freightliner. The "tv space" is for a microwave and the key isn't chipped. I leave a bare metal key in the ignition in mine. And something that's different on mine is my fuel tank caps accessible behind the fins. I wish they were like in the video but all well. Can anyone tell me how an international drives compared to a freightliner?
Hello Larry name is Tom Lemere wanted to jump in and say hello , ex truck driver retired, now. I live in Beecher IL just west of 394 on goodnow Rd give me a shout when you can.Thanks.
So your depot is right alongside the Corwith rail yard ?.... Didn't know that... What year is your work truck , Larry ?? ..... You due for a new truck yet ?....
Jayen4 yeah it’s kind of nice we have a back entrance right into the railyard, my truck is a 2015 and I have about 150,000 miles till I would get a new one
My truck only has 350,000 miles, they usually switch them out around 450 to 500. They said a couple months ago that everyone will have one of these new trucks within the next two years
No I do not, it isn’t that I have said I wouldn’t but They just never have asked me to do one. It’s a real pain I guess, the backdoors have an inner bolt system that is open with the code you enter into a keypad inside the engine compartment. Enable give you the code until you get to the receiver
Did you think of doing a dedicated run ? Plus JB Hunt may give you the 2018 truck to drive. Must be a pos & neg. reasons to be on a dedicated run. Or maybe you could become a dispatch. Bet you would be a good one because you know the trucker side of things. Your flat was an accident or random. News the other day had a story of 60 or more,( forget the number ) vehicles in an underground parking of an apt building had their tires slashed. Some had all 4 tires flattened. Someone sure has an evil mind. Have a great day. Maybe one day you will open your door of truck & there lays a suitcase full of $100 dollar bills. Exact amount to buy a spanking brand new truck. Did ya ever have a dream that you won $$$$ but woke up & realized it was just a dream ? Boo. Rags to riches back to rags. Health food shelter faith/hope then we are millionaires compared to 70/80% of the world's population. Keep a trucking.
We will try again tomorrow "awesome quote man ...keep on rocking larry
Bye larry house looks great

Keith Klingensmith Tell you the truth I’d rather be driving my old truck
I like the new international suppose to get one in November not big on the automatic but oh well and your not joking about trying to sleep their with all the horn honking but be safe Larry and good luck getting out of there tonight
Chris Grupe I’m kind of liking it too, didn’t get much sleep

Haha. 331999 is my truck that I'm driving now. Too funny!
great video sir hope you get a new truck soon
I probably have another year or two in this one
Nice little truck. Kinda plain Jane but it would work for me. I like freightliner. I wonder how big of a motor they got in them. And, a new truck is a new truck
Our DCS partners are running those daycab cascadias out here. It seems like they forgot about us intermodal guys😊😊

Pete Rubis Yeah the shop is really taking over the whole place, I haven’t seen a reefer load yet waiting for them to ask me
If the company said the choice is yours, which of the two trucks would you choose?
Dale Sauve I was really kind of digging the international, never drove one but I like the interior
I like the new Internationals
I kind a liked it to
I like the international, lots of room.
Hello Larry I just want to congratulate you on you make very good videos you need to take Johnny out and showing how to make a good video you get tired of seeing them white lines go by and by and by I did that for over 30 years I've seen enough of the white lines you do an excellent job on your videos keep up the good work
Albert Marshall Thank you, and thanks for watching

Nice trucks.
Love the internationals, my favorite trucks. That facility sure is a noisy place.
So when are you getting yours? :)

Not a hammer I don't think, it's a wonder bar. Nail puller/pry bar
Hey Larry that 2018 International good looking truck too, not bad at all man!!! Larry I wonder how many trucks JB Hunt owns, any idea?
Not entirely sure, I asked google it says over 12,000
Wow Larry that's a lot of trucks man, thanks for the info talk 2 u soon.
Larry or it was used as the main tractor to piggyback 3 more tractors behind it
Markw1063 Now that makes sense, where were you when I was trying to figure it out? LOL
intermodal trucker right here on you tube lol
that's different having the reefer like that on the trailer lol
Cody Shilhanek Basically they put a roll cage around it so the cranes don’t smash it
Fresh thymebis another DCS as well as Meier
Hey Larry would you prefer the Freightliner 2018 or the 2018 International
The freightliner 2018 cascadia interior looks like a Mercedes design, and the windscreen is much better then the 2 piece one
No fridge? 😥😥😥
Freightliner with an MB engine?
Time to ask for A 2018
Scott Coleman NaI’d be afraid I was going to get it dirty. LOL
Why don’t you ask for a new truck Larry ???
My truck only has 350,000 miles, they usually switch them out around 450 to 500. They said a couple months ago that everyone will have one of these new trucks within the next two years
Would you ever drive either of these?
Steve Shipkie They say that all of us will have one of those within the next year to two years
Thumbs up!
Do you prefer automatic ?
I like the features of the frtshkr better, but the International has a better ride & engine .
Do you ever pull the refrigerated containers?
No I do not, it isn’t that I have said I wouldn’t but They just never have asked me to do one. It’s a real pain I guess, the backdoors have an inner bolt system that is open with the code you enter into a keypad inside the engine compartment. Enable give you the code until you get to the receiver
intermodal trucker Those cold boxes are a PITA! We get alot of reefer boxes from Iowa
I like the 2014 style prostar over the 2018.
I had a JB Hunt driver tell me his truck was governed at 58. Is that true?
Nevermind Larry I got it dedicated contract Service
nice automatic
Thanks Larry!
Thanks for watching
Well u be getting 2018 truck or u keeping your old truck
Tavarus Akil I’m keeping mine I still have about 150,000 miles till I would get a new one
Larry, r u ready for the Philippines with JBG???
John Franklin Nope no the Philippines for me, just paying bills that’s in my future
intermodal trucker I hear ya, just paying the bills is my future too. Drive Safe guy!! 👍
I really like the Navistar International better than Freightliner!
Hey Larry you deserve a 2018 Freightliner don't you
I drove both...Feightliner is the better truck!!!!
🚛👍
👍
The rest of the hammer is inside the tire? Left behind from previous tire change. Ha Ha.
Dale Jensen I asked the mechanic to pull it out for me I wanted to see what it was but he didn’t speak English and didnt understand me
I like truck with manual I don't like automatic in truck's
hello larry.
Annette Diego Hello
did you have to go for training for your company.
Annette Diego I had to do a three day orientation, and then I had to ride along with another driver for two days to get registered and all the rails
👍
16:00 Time to change your own tire driver.
theicon2020 I actually thought about doing it, but they would’ve threw a fit.
Always hated internationals….seemed like it took a football field to turn around.
Trucks would look better if it did not say jb hunt
First! Haha
