I spoke with a manager at my local dollar tree and she stated that they are changing the name to dollar tree plus with items priced from .50 cents to $5.00. Guess we will see.
Most Dollar Tree upcycles are complicated and still look like DT projects. These projects all take DT to a whole new level. They're beautiful and creative. I especially liked the inside drawer finish because it is unexpected yet fun. Thanks for sharing.
We so enjoy watching your channel, we too just love to create from "virtually inexpensive" items. As you well know it does become a way of life, but a wonderful way of life. We are building a garage and all the wood scraps laying around are calling to me. I have made the wooden books, I have made a large assortment of items that I enjoy and may sell a few at the end of the month at a small local event here in Ohio. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant here in Ohio, I am able to channel my creative side with my patients/clients and am grateful to do so. I loved the pedestal and the use of the Hobby Lobby frame. I use the Graphic Fairy printable too Walmart carries some nice white frames with the mat. I printed out two different hydrangeas and framed them. I hope DT puts out some fall flowers stickers
Wow as much painting and crafting that i have done, i have never heard of painting over the tape with your original color of paint to create a seal. How simple and yet ingenious. Thank you
I have truly lost internet in my crafting…..and am INUNDATED with DT supplies. YOU are the only creator that I continue to look out for and get re-inspired!! I do have to say I’ve become much more interested in using my power tools and making wood pieces…..but you never ever disappoint! Loved the makes. One suggestion, IOD has a large stamp called “Kindest regards” that is a letter written in French . It makes a great background and so much easier than dealing with vinyl and weeding vinyl, etc.

p.s. If you have another “tedious” project, to remove the “tedious” stencil, roll up some tape with sticky side out and dab the stencil to pull it away. Depends on how sticky the stencil is for how sticky the tape needs to be. 💪🏻❤️🤗

I’ve become obsessed with the Dollar Tree. My family thinks I’ve lost it!😂. I ran into a lady in one of my many dollar tree visits and she does the same thing. She said all of the YT crafts has kept her from getting depressed during all of this c v and world “stuff.” It really makes sense and it’s essentially self-care if you like decor and crafts. It’s a great outlet. You can also make some great gifts. I use baskets and other items for making gift baskets. The basket or decorated wooden crate are great for organizing small items such as fingernail polish, lotions, makeup or really and group of small items. My son is my witness to this whole dollar tree craft phenomenon. He’s going back with me today. Great video!!!

Thank you so much for including alternatives to using a Cricut. I should love to own one but unfortunately with the ZAR/US$ conversion rate it is virtually impossible for a South African pensioner to purchase one. Forgive me Lord but I am so envious of you lucky people....Here in my "neck of the woods" we don't have Dollar Trees or anything like that, and thrift stores and charity shops are few and far between. However, I still love watching these makeover DIYs. Thanks for an awesome channel. God Bless.

I have honestly learned so many crafting techniques from you by watching your videos... You are not only one of the best DIY'ERS on youtube but you also have some of the most brilliant high-end looking hacks I've ever seen... I've been wanting to try the waterslide technique for quite a while now, especially every time I see you do a project using them but now after today's floral pic's you did I am definitely putting waterslide transfers on the top of my "crafts to do list" because I am so recreating those floral pic's... I've always been a detailed type girl and after watching you do those side table drawers (which I flipping love) I must say you went above and beyond and it made a bigger statement than I would have ever thought... That's another craft I'll be doing real soon.. Thank you for all the inspiration...
