When my church needed a new organ, we used many ways to raise the funds. We wanted the purchase to be debt free. One suggestion was to go through your attic or storage for items that might be sold. One parishioner found a box of childhood comics that sold for thousands and a great donation to.the organ fund. And now we have a marvelous Walker tracker organ!

The perfume bottles remind me of my grandmother. When she would empty a bottle, or find interesting shaped bottles, she would fill them with water, add food coloring, and put them in the windows of the home to create a stained glass effect.

Memories of my Grandma ,butter press molds that measure out 1lb of fresh butter that we had just made that morning to sell. Her molds had a carved roses in the top that left an imprint in the butter.
When I think of my grandma I think of the original Estee Lauder perfume. I work at a department store not too long ago and they actually still sell this perfume. I took a couple of the sample tab papers that they have you can spray the perfume on let them dry and put them in my purse. It was so comforting to open that purse and it smell like my grandma!
I so love watching your show

17:32-You were talking about concrete ducks and how people used to dress them. Well I just had to tell you that there is an elderly lady that lives around the corner from me and she has a concrete duck and she changes its outfit for the different seasons AND holidays. I just love driving or walking by and looking at her duck. It's just so cool!
19:09-tjat is part of a toy spinning wheel. My mom got one for Christmas years ago when I was a little girl.
I just watched GRIMES FINDS video and he has boxes and boxes of beautiful old Christmas ornaments. I hope he does an eBay search before he puts them in his auction. Awesome video.❤️
Nutcrackers. That makes me think of my dad! Every year for Christmas I would get him a new Nutcracker to add to the collection. Unfortunately my dad passed away three years ago going on four and every time I see a nutcracker it just makes me sad but happy at the same time.
I love your job.💙💙👍🏼🙂🙂

3:00 I remember when Arby's was giving away an entire set of Norman Rockwell glasses about 30-some odd years ago. I don't know if my sister who lives in Texas still has the set or not or if they got broken over the years.

For me it's all about the toys. I remember one Christmas opening up a SSP smash up derby set and playing with it with my Dad. One day I'll get another one. 😁
Those were FUN
@@WhatTheHales I can see it now.
The door goes up on a storage unit and there sits a Kenner SSP set. Jeremy and I look at each other, forget we're friends, and the Storage Wars begin.....
My grandma had blue dutch clock on the kitchen wall I really liked

my neighbor had her great grandfather's old tool box. She ask me what to do with it and I told her try to sell it on Ebay, but sell them individually. She listed an old plane with all the "scrapers" and sold it for $5000.00. she had almost 10 more tools and sold them for around thew same prices.

18:00 That's a big Tribble! I'm surprised it didn't give birth, what with being stuffed in that box will all of that "food". :) :) :) :) (If you don't get the reference, go watch the Star Trek TOS episode "The Trouble With Tribbles".)

Here you go: Ephemera are any transitory written or printed matters that are not meant to be retained or preserved. The word derives from the Greek ephemeros, meaning "lasting only one day, short-lived".[1] Some collectible ephemera are advertising, trade cards, airsickness bags, bookmarks, catalogues, greeting cards, letters, pamphlets, postcards, posters, prospectuses, defunct stock certificates or tickets, and zines.

Hello Hales family. I truly enjoy watching you. You are my connection to the outside world. I love your excitement on even the little things. You two treat each othe with so much love that it warms my heart. I'm a disabled old lady, but i try to move atound as much as i can. You two bring happiness into my lonely world. Please enjoy each othe for as long as you can, and stay active. It's pretty lonely especially this time of year. The only people i see are my docrors and the people from my Church who drive me to the doctor. I've lost my drivers license due to memory issues. I once drove to another state without even realizing it. LOL. Growing old with medical issues isnt very fun. I appreciate your videos and humor. I think of you as family. Both of your parents did such a good job raising you. May you have a blessed holiday season.
call me ma HAPPY HOLIDAYS! 😁
Thank you so much!!!!!

Just want to let you guys know. For most of any trading card game like magic, yugioh, pokemon since you find a lot of this if you download an app called tcgplayer you can just scan the cards and it will give you current price for that card. makes it quick and easy to go through a lot of cards at once to make sure you dont miss anything. As a long time magic player ive seen you hold up cards that may not look expensive but are easily at least 5$
The wooden toy car with the stamp you were asking about is a yenshos

I have my grandmother's doll that was given her when she was quite young in the hospital by the nurses. It has a leather body, joints, and eyes that open and close. This would have been about 1904 when she was given this doll. I need to find out what this doll is worth for insurance.
