Story:
Drama Serial Maat is based on a novel by Umer Ahmed. Story showed sibling rivalry. Saman (Saba Qamar) and Aiman (Amina Shaikh). Saman is greedy and outspoken girl who wants to marry someone rich someday. Aiman, is a simple girl who would marry wherever her parents say. Saman rejects a proposal of her cousin who is in love with her because he is poor so his mother asks for Aiman’s proposal which was his mother’s first choice. The story starts taking an interesting twist as Saman’s brother in law (the cousin who proposed to her) gets rich.

Honestly I'm quite fed up with Aiman's character. She needs to set boundaries and tell her sister no, but instead she keeps letting her get away with everything- this is why Saman is so spoiled because her sister never tells her no

Now he has fallen into saman's trap thinking she is also in love with him. Aiman shouldn't have agreed to this marriage after getting rejected. She even knows that he likes saman even then she is ready to get married to him. This is ridiculous!

I just hate both aunties. Why they are forcing faisal and aiman into marrying. Faisal has the right to marry the girl he likes, keeping aside if marriage is successfull or not, but atleast every one should be given the liberty to decide for themselves. So suffocating situation they have created for their children.

@@shivanidhiman8002but Faisal’s mom was forcing him to get engaged to Aiman instead she should have left him alone and decide moreover it’s better that he broke his Engagement with Aiman instead of having a sad marriage it’s better to part ways before getting married.
In the earlier episodes, Faisal did express his love for Saman clearly before his mother, and she did agree to it to the extent that both parents were planning their marriage. But Saman seeing that he lacked in the financial department at the moment was unenthused and declined Faisal's offer; She declined many offers for marriage even before meeting them instead choosing to go after her friend's cousin since he was rich. Saman is the problematic person here and poor Aiman is being dragged into this mess.

I feel in this drama all characters are weird. Especially Aiman’s she lets everyone walk all over her. She wants to play the victim card. Moreover Faisal’s mom likes Aiman coz she’s will get a full time maid. So baseless drama where no one stops saman where she’s wrong instead they just keep talking between themselves.
Your analysis is right but it's reality. In laws want educated daughter in law just to serve them. Also there are girls who are raised more like people pleaser. Bcz our society likes girls without opinions and dreams.
