Chris Anderson's record breaking 96 yard TD still stands as the longest run in Bama history. Grew up playing sports with him and saw him do some amazing things on the gridiron and the baseball diamond.
I went to that Florida game the annoincers mentioned. It was the worst Alabama game i have ever been to... nothing even comes close. However, they came together as a team and didnt lose another game until LSU in 1993
Back then not every games was televised. Most were on pay per view. It wasn't until to late 90's early 2000's that everyone started to get televised. Even then not until the SEC network did every team get on TV every week.
Until the 2000s not every game was on TV and in fact for most teams a majority weren't. For the SEC in 1991, the conference might get *a* game on ABC or ESPN, possibly both, and they got a TBS game every week. Teams were on their own after that, and a lot of teams were reluctant to televise a bunch of home games because there was so much reliance on the live gate as opposed to TV contracts back then. A bunch of SEC teams utilized PPV this season for some of their games.
I remember listening to this game on the radio

Why wasn't this televised on regular TV?

It's a good question, as Temple finished 7-4 the year prior.

18 Losing Season for Temple from 1991-2008
Woodson could have really been a great quarterback
Showing up to practice drunk didn't endear him to the coaching staff.
No self control
@@therealfronzilla damn I always wondered why he had got suspended
Where is he from , and did he get any pro tryouts ?
