Looks amazing! I am loving home canned goods week! Thanks for sharing the pie crust recipe and the process. You made it look so easy. I might just try it! Have a blessed night!
Kris, I am so impressed with this video. Not only did you make "gravy" (your slurry), but you also made pie crusts !! The more you do, the better you'll get at it and the more comfortable you'll feel !! Blessings from your Hoosier great-grandma friend Kathy. ♥️
Thank you, thank you thank you for this series! I am learning all of the new skills of tanning dehydrating and cooking with raised with the mother that only used a can opener for all meals, but she never came up with great ideas like this
Fabulous job, Kris. You can thicken with a few tablespoons of instant taters. I've made top less pot pies by piping mashed sweet taters or regular. My kids loved it. ❤
This looked yummy, Kris!! I have always loved meat pies! I just made a chicken pot pie with store canned chicken, mixed veg, and crm of chicken soup. I did a biscuit topping. So weird that it was wiped out. I bet if I slaved all day making it from scratch I'd have a ton of leftovers! Thanks for sharing. Much love to you all and BYE TOM 👋❤️🥰
Beef Pot Pie, so good! Pie Crust look like it has a good texture. This is the best with all those veggies. Roll the crust around the rolling pin to move to pie plate. I’m amazed that you can play with the crust. Usually the least amount of touch is best. I’m stealing the recipe.
Such a great idea. I saw the peaches on the counter and at first thought you were making peach pie. But what a creative and nice surprise. Beef pie! Do you have a good recipe for dinner rolls? I’ve been looking for an easy recipe. (No rise) Poor Tom~ Is his neck still the culprit? He may need to just rest on the couch for a couple of days.
1 cup warm water 1/3 cup oil 1/4 cup sugar 2 tablespoons yeast MIx together and let set for 5 minutes 1 egg 3-4 cups of flour 1 tbsp butter 1/2 tsp salt this one rises for about 15 minutes but it is so good I use if for rolls bread and cinnamon rolls too. Yea today is his last day of work for 3 days but is helping my son move tomorrow. We are both in pain right now I tell you getting old not so much fun lol
