Couple of issues here. I got the SPL 150 and less than a year the amplifier is out. A company of Klipsch reputation should be doing better for the top of line sub woofers. With my experience I won’t ever look back or reconsider Klipsch Secondly I am not sure how far Divine AV is pushing Klipsch products because of their relationship with Klipsch than the actual audio quality or performance.
That’s interesting, we’ve never seen an amp failure on that unit. They are phenomenal with their warranty support, so reach out to your dealer and you’ll get it fixed quickly. @@bt6257 i’m sorry to hear about your trouble. I wish we were your dealer. We would’ve handled those things differently. Those are pretty rare instances. We do hundreds of thousands of dollars annually in klipsch and haven’t really seen those types of issues. Stuff happens with every manufacture. Klipsch has actually designed the amplifiers themselves on the new units. They’ve increased the warranty to five years and their initial testing. They did seven days straight at 100% volume with zero failures. They do listen to their customers and make changes. It’s one of the main things we love about them.
@@bt6257 yeah, we’ve seen a few failures on the 100sw units. Klipsch traditionally has never made a decent subwoofer never mind a decent crossover. I call bullsh*t on Klipsch subs, Klipsch sensitivity figures and my 24" subs say hold my beer!
Hmm don’t turn it all the way up at all .. I purchased a pair of RP-1600sw 3 weeks ago to match my klipsch rf7iii tower and one of them has no output and a noisy grinding woofer when I did the push test most likely it’s a burnt voicemail.. sending it back to the klipsch dealer tomorrow for the final verdict.. I’m so disappointed.. these subs were not pushed to their limits 6 on the amp plate dial and -4db on the receiver.. buyers be aware!! It seems klipsch still has issues with their subs 🥴
Not a single issue with over 200 installed and sold. Huge improvements on these new units. Also, one of the best warranties at five years. We also check the signal quality on every installation. For both to have an issue at the same time, I would say it’s likely that the signal is clipping. Grab an oscilloscope and check for clipping once you get the units fixed. If you set the units below clipping, it’s highly likely that you won’t have any issues. Thanks for watching.
Naw I don't think so my 4 15's from the Rack stereo back then are still better and they never make it like they used to not to mention the 12 the 10 subs and the 8 inch car sub for a 56 inch t.v will works
the design is not elegant, they made them more wider than necessary instead of taller, which takes up more precious floor space in many typical homes, bad for WAF. Klipsch always has been boasting the performance of their subwoofer performance. Is this going to be exception?
The subwoofers are not really that much wider at all. We are talking 2 to 3 inches. I don’t think anyone is going to miss that. They are deeper which is what I think you mean. But that doesn’t really cause an issue in most rooms. Most rooms are never going to miss an extra 4 or 5 inches of depth. If that makes a big difference in the space, the space is clearly way too small for a large subwoofer. The height is almost identical. That’s great to see because that means that people with projection screens will not have to run the screens overly high. Thanks for watching and we appreciate your input!
Another thing, for that much msrp, Klipsch should use magnetic grill instead of sticking out metal posts which are potential hazards for families with young children.
To late to the party. No app, boxes are to big when compared to equivalent competition. Years of faulty amps and disappointment lost so many customers. Zero reason for someone to buy if you already have good subs.
I was so excited to see their release of these.. until I realized their terrible design choice. They needed to make these about 4 inches taller and 4 inches more shallow. Would of had same internal volume and not take up all your floor space.
I will say this. Couple of other brands do this too BUT they offer non floorspace eating versions, ie. Pc2000/pc4000 and m210 m212 m215... fv15hp, fv18. I can go on.
Taller doesn’t always work well for home home theater with projection. It forces the screen higher or requires people to move the subs outward, therefore corner loading more than desired. If running the units in the front of the room, when in the seated position, they will be less obtrusive to the eye. They are thinking outside the box. Also, keep in mind, one of the most powerful positions is running the subwoofers on the left and right of the room facing each other instead of the audience. Check them out in person. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment! Take care!
They look pants, far too long as already mentioned and taking up more floor space, i have owned klipsch subs in the past to find that just about every other sub brand on the market works and sounds better. We are the exclusive Real Custom Cinema and Heritage dealer in DFW. We sell other brands but are known to do high end Klipsch. We Dont sell the lower end Klipsch products. Thanks for watching!
it says those max spl but at what frequency
Ich habe die legendäre Isophon Stonehenge, die macht Klipsch einfach in Sachen Präzision komplett zu brei.
JA, die Klipsch sind schon der Knaller. Da geb ich Dir recht!
It’s surprising you can pick it up so easily
I might get one to the car
Couple of issues here. I got the SPL 150 and less than a year the amplifier is out. A company of Klipsch reputation should be doing better for the top of line sub woofers. With my experience I won’t ever look back or reconsider Klipsch
Secondly I am not sure how far Divine AV is pushing Klipsch products because of their relationship with Klipsch than the actual audio quality or performance.
That’s interesting, we’ve never seen an amp failure on that unit. They are phenomenal with their warranty support, so reach out to your dealer and you’ll get it fixed quickly. There’s always a potential for some minor issues. But that thing can be swapped in like five minutes with a screwdriver and no other tools.
We love Klipsch products and we are the exclusive, real custom Cinema and Klipsch heritage dealer in DFW. They are doing a phenomenal job right now and are certainly pushing the envelope.
We do sell bowers, and Wilkins, Martin, Logan, JBL synthesis, JL audio, and they all have stupid good products. You’ll see plenty of videos coming out soon.
Thanks for watching in. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
@@DivineAV thanks. I did reach out to them, waiting for their response. Of note I have other customers on AV forums have similar issues. I went with Klipsch for my whole theater, so am a little upset with the failure and also had to return couple of Klipsch 6000 FA that were delivered damaged. Though Klipsch was good at replacing them.
@@DivineAV thanks I hope with the newer Subwoofers they have addressed the issues. Thanks for your response.
@@bt6257 yeah, we’ve seen a few failures on the 100sw units. These ones are supposed to be much more durable because they actually designed the amplifiers themselves and it took two years of extensive research and development. They don’t want to have issues either. It cost money. You’re very welcome and we appreciate you watching and interacting. Good luck with your system and let us know if there’s any thing we can do to help.
I wonder how many Trinnov owners will be using these. 🤔
Plenty of our clients. Quad 1600s! Yes please :)
But that's $700+ for a stamped steel frame sub....🤦
You must come from the Car Audio world :-) we actually build a bunch of competition, Car Audio subwoofers and use them to shake peoples houses lol.
Klipsch traditionally has never made a decent subwoofer never mind a decent crossover. I call bullsh*t on Klipsch subs, Klipsch sensitivity figures and my 24" subs say hold my beer!
So the pic of the subs show a 3 prong AC input, but the subs only show 2 prong, Klipsch is false advertising
There still down on power , like 800rms that’s it that’s all you got gee probably another 10 years til they reach 1000rms
You're not clearing stating which 2 you have !
1000sw and a 1200sw. It was more of just an initial vision of the lineup. We will be doing actual videos comparisons ASAP.
@@DivineAV I have the 1200sw ordered already can't wait to try it out
@@bluecamarodriver94 let us know if you need anything else. We will get you the best deal. Thanks buddy!
Iwantfreestuff pair of
SVS
Naw I don't think so my 4 15's from the Rack stereo back then are still better and they never make it like they used to not to mention the 12 the 10 subs and the 8 inch car sub for a 56 inch t.v will works
prefer speedwoofer 12s over the rp 1200sw tbh
14 seconds in and I can see the distortion coming off the cone. Klipsch subs have always been sloppy sounding.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I have a svs ultra 16 so I'm pretty sure I'm still better off
Those PBs do hit!!
😂😂😂😂😂
the design is not elegant, they made them more wider than necessary instead of taller, which takes up more precious floor space in many typical homes, bad for WAF.
Yeah, they can keep these.
I will stick with my SVS subs which I'm very happy with and for you to say they are bull shite is dreadful marketing on your part
Watch the video. Bullsh*t is a phrase that Paul would say in his day. Also, this is a completely redesigned sub that you have not even heard. Almost no one else has these on display. Svs makes good products. Just having a little fun buddy.
You don't know what your talking about ,there's so many used svs subs on the market because people got brain washed ,now crying like babies
My PB-16 Ultra spanks this Klipsch sub on paper and in real life. Nice try Klipsch but there’s more to a subwoofer than a big box and a beefy sub.
I ve seen vids and there's a lot of port noise, is that the case with yours?
😂😂😂😂😂
