Sometime workers remove guards to cut the Tiles and make lame excuses like using grinder with guard is not possible to Polish, cut or reach at desired angle and position on surfaces. Please suggest how to counter such situations? besides changing the direction of guard. Thanks
I tell them to then cut the tile piece on a table type saw or wire saw , and then put it in place . or i just take the grinder away from them . Thanks Mike Espo for watching .
I am not sure if they are doing away with SSC ? and making all jobs requiring a SSM , you should take the SSM course but find out if you have the total of years in first . Mike Espo..
At the start of every job , make sure all workers have brand new tools only ! No old broken tools at all on the site. And check the tool boxes for broken cords and broken or taken off guards . TT ................
