Hi, we suggest running through the Dagster University courses. These will provide you with a complete example of a pipeline, incorporating dbt: courses.dagster.io/
man i would never recommend dagster to any other. I have spent more than 100+ hrs on a small project and i still cant pull it off. I am totally stuck on creating dbt dependancies. Its so confusing and these people tutorials are trash. Instead of showing something from scratch and build on it, they show on a pre existing model which doesnt translate properly to my project and moreover its confusing as hell. I went through their dagster essentials course and it was okay but when it came to dagster dbt, i cant. its utter trash. Please give us better tutorials. Thank you
I understand your frustration with the Dagster + dbt integration - 100+ hours is a significant investment of time. For a fresh start, I'd recommend checking out Dagster University's dedicated dbt course at courses.dagster.io/courses/dagster-dbt, which builds concepts from the ground up. If you're still stuck after that, consider joining the Dagster Slack community where you can get help with your specific implementation challenges.
Please tell us how to insert with an existing pipeline.. DBT for me is a second step , first step being ingestion.
