So I listened along as I was preparing our dinner, chopping vegetables and so on. Thoroughly enjoyed hearing your decision making process and then, right at the end, I glanced up and looked at your beautiful diagram. I love how you laid this out and I truly hope you keep this to refer back to next year when you are deciding what to get. Awesome video!
I have a weeks (purely functional planner and info records) an A6 or A5 stalogy for journaling where I write whatever I want; not always a daily entry but sometimes multiple entries daily depending on what’s going on, and an A4 plain Moleskine for rough creative planning. I keep it all. When I’m a little old lady my house will be full of notebooks 😂

Haha yeah Notebooks stacked up to the ceiling if we are not careful!! I am going to be revisiting this sheet at the 6 month mark. Sorry for the crazy late reply to your comment, haha!

I’m a little old lady with all those boxes. It does make you think about just what you’re leaving for your heirs!

Such a good way to think out next year out loud. Really helped me realise I need to separate my brain dumping from my memory diary. Thank you.

This was really useful. I sort of lost my way with planning/journalling a bit this year and I want to try and get back to a system that feels better. I'm also tempted to use only notebooks that I already own to save some cash, although the hobonichi weeks is calling me as well. This year I had a squared paper notebook as my edc, a paperblanks diary, bought in a panic in the jan sales when I felt like I needed a better way to grasp the year at a glance, and then a lined notebook for creative plans and common place. Thanks for the inspiration as always 📓

Hello! Thank you for commenting and sorry I am slow to reply! Hope I was able to help in some way! I think it jus takes time to work out what works best for us. I had many years of overbuying before I landed with this system 😊
