- Which city will host Eurovision 2016 in Sweden? Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmö again? What do you think?

Most likely Stockholm will get the event and that is fine.
Malmö would be good as they have invested in their assets. While it's true that they kept within budget, Malmö as a city went with an overall loss hosting the event 2013 according to local politicians. Hosting it again might pay off this time. It's silly if we got it twice though as Stockholm is marketing itself as the capital of Scandinavia.
I will be happy whether it is Gothenburg or Stockholm or anywhere else for that matter, as long as I am able to get tickets!

It would be fun (different) if they did it up north, but my gut says Stockholm.
Well it's decided now that it'll be in Globen, Stockholm.
I think Norrköping and Linköping (in the future) could host it together in some way because they are so close to each other. Though, they can not today decide regarding their airports, both cities have their own tiny airport, both kind of wants just one airport, but also both of them wants it in their municipality, so there's that. I would really look forward to a Eurovision that is not held in Stockholm though, capitals in general get enough publicity anyways.
I would love for it to be in Göteborg :)

I would go for the obvious choice and say Stockholm. It's big enough to host such an event, it can accommodate a ton of people both related to the production and just those wanting to be in attendance - fans and the media it attracts, it is certainly easy to get to having a large airport nearby, it's sort of centrally located at least on the vertical plane.. (obviously stockholm is south when looking at the entire country, but taking the most populated areas of sweden into consideration...its not so south)
I hope for Stockholm, partly because Malmö had it last time and partly because if it was in Sthlm I could be everywhere all the time for all the events! And that'd be cool. Also it's the capitol and it's a nice city, and this time we have Tele2, which I think could be a good place to have it in. I really really want it to be in Sthlm, announce it nooow! *so excited*
I have my fingers crossed for Stockholm this year. Although svt have made it pretty clear that they don't want to make a huge event and keep under a budget like they did in 2013
Helsingborg has a newly built arena but maybe it's to small.
Here's to Stockholm in 2016! :D Partly for selfish reasons, as my sister's husband has a house just outside the city I'd be able to stay at, ahaha. It'd be pretty awesome to stay there for the summer before going south to Germany for school.
Malmö just Cuz i live there and i was sick under ESC and Its pretty Warm like 25 celsius
I imagine it won't be in Malmö twice in a row, but it's a possibility as they did well last time. For purely selfish reasons, I don't want it to be in Stockholm as I only went there last year. I'd also like to cycle there next year and I think it would be a nice ride along the coast to Gothenburg.

Anyhow, I really liked it in Malmö last time and I wouldn't have anything against it being hosted here. But a part of me wants it to be somewhere else so I can go there and not think about anything else but eurovision for an entire week. :D So why not Stockholm?

Gothenburg would be my choice. I mean, it would be interesting to have it somewhere that isn't Stockholm and for that city to be showcased in the context of the competition. The 2013 contest was more about Sweden than Malmö which the exception of the bridge reference, and that was unfortunate.
If Stockholm and Malmö hosted in 2000 and 2013, then maybe Gothenburg should get the chance to prove their _host qualities_ next ? Or, for that same reason, Norrland should be picked ? I don't know..
Want to know the real reason why Luxembourg isn't participating in the ESC anymore ? Because we'd probably win !! Then, the following year, we'd have a massive problem: Not enough space to build an arena that's big enough for all the crowds. Ha! :D
I think the ESC delegations would prefer Malmö money wise.

I would vote for Uppsala, but dunno if they have a big arena. Also like in Millstreet Arena, you can transform a show jumping arena into Eurovision stage. Malmö would be great, cuz its 'close' to Berlin. Stockholm would be great, its your capital - be proud of it. DOnt be like in Germany, where everyone was against Berlin.
I don't think it will be in Malmö beouse Stockholm has friends arena and it is'nt booked , so i think Stockholm

I love both options - Malmo and Stockholm, I have friends in both cities and I love both cities equally, but may be Stockholm will be better in the terms of tourism, more options to spend money for tourists, more hostels and hotels for fans and amazing city to visit.
I personally can visit Malmo more ofter, so to have a normal excuse to spend extra on the travelling, I call Stockholm :)

Personally I want it in Gothenburg because I have a friend their who I want to visit but I think it will go to Stockholm or Malmö.

Jag tror att det ända rimliga den här gången är Stockholm, och då är jag inte själv där ifrån. Göteborg, förvisso trevligt stad, men ingen bra arena.

Russia managed the Olympics in a small town. So you could put Eurovision in the middle of nowhere.
