- This is a VHS video I uncovered while going through Ingen's "presidential suite" at the main hotel of Isla Nublar. I am horrified but not at all surprised. Before Jurassic Park was opened to the public, Hammond was insistent on Rangers bringing in interns and training them. Now we know why.
RIP Junior Rangers. I hate knowing this VHS tape exists.

The existence of these tapes alone, most likely means it was going to have or has been done. May Ingen burn in Hell.
Theory the tape is a fake created by other companies to get investors to not invest in Jurassic park

Two options, A: this is something Hammond planned or B: a fucked up "joke" someone made at the park. I can only hope it wasnt something they went through with.
Most likely it would be option A
This is for sure more book canon than the film since Hammond is an unapologetic villain in the novel and would probably not care if this was done.
Film Hammond: *Would hire people to save them and help pay for the damages and deaths* I am truly sorry.
Why do I get the feeling that the "junior rangers" would've been kids from low-income neighborhoods or kids that have been bounced around the fosteer care system. These would be the kids that no one really misses and if the program were ever announced, it would be seen as a type of charity program. A few deserving kids from across the country being given the chance to visit an exclusive park over the summer break. They'd be "volunteered" by social services employees who are given special stipends for each child they recommend (several thousand per kid). Eugenics at its best

probably, but i assume they have other feeders that feed more meat(probably butchered and not live) and, maybe they even took into consideration the idea that rexy could throw her food over the fence, so giving her a goat would be safer for guests(this is entirely based on my knowledge of the normal JP movie lore not anything with this-)

(And is it really that hard to swallow your meal whole and not fling it around like a crocodile? 🐊 lol)
(Makes that movie scene less believable too, because she ends up swallowing the goat whole anyway, after the leg ends up on the roof of the car.)
They really must have fed her better than that.
(In Jurassic world, she wasn’t near a fence while being fed. They watched her eat the goat 🐐 while they were inside that tree.)
I read the books, and listened to the audio books too, and I don’t remember them mentioning feeding her a better way than this. (Though, of course I could just not remember every single detail)
Though I did watch a fan made video, of the guy feeding rexy a large piece of meat. 🥩

2:04 Spinosaurus being bred illegally and secret, makes it somehow more unsettling.
This definitely was a great improvement. There was more tension and Eeriness. I would have wished though we got a little gore or screams at the end to give that ending spook. But overall this was excellent! 7/10

I think the lack of gore and screaming was fitting to the whole vibe of the video being just generally unsettling. The fact that it’s laid out as something of a relatively official introductory sorta video would make that sorta thing counterintuitive
I honestly can't tell whether the 1st kid was impaled or something else. He couldn't have been eaten since Triceratops is an herbivore.
... Well ... They can. Only small animals... Like how cows rarely eat snakes. Or Sinoceratops has been depicted when young they'll eat carrion or left over dead animals or small animals to help with protein and bone growth. Sorry to tell you.
@@reivax3734 You say when their young that was a full grown Cera, as for cows that is probably on accident more than anything else as in the snake was probably in a grassy burrow or on some thick grass or bush the cow just happened to want to eat. Key word for this presumption "Rarely".
@@PTillA-kf7rq I said Sinoceratops was depicted to eat carrion most commonly when young. They still eat a little bit of meat. Trikes eat a small bit of meat. Just more commonly when young. And no the cow thing is not an accident. There were cases of cows eating snakes and rabbits with zero grass in the mouth. And Galapagos tortoise have been found to eat more than just plants. But little birds and even in rare cases each other. Horses rarely eat small animals too. Herbivores need some meat to grow. Sorry bro...

And while you talk about all these other animals to try to convince me and well, I can buy the turtles, I can buy the birds, but I am still not sold on the 4 legged warm blooded creatures. Also SMALL key word here, not 3 feet tall Child, which might be small to a tyrannosaur and little to a cera, but the Child is not Compy sized nor the size of crow small here this is the equivalent of a horse eating a sheep dog here!

My only confusion is with the triceratops. I thought they didn't eat meat. I know they would willingly and quickly dispatch a threat to their safety but how could a child ever spook them on their own? Do you think it was modified in some way?
This is late, but herbivores are often extremely aggressive- especially ones that co-exist with a lot of carnivores. As triceratops coexisted and was often hunted by Tyrannosaurus it was likely very easy to provoke, similar to a modern day rhinoceros.
@marwansobhy7050 Oh! I didn't know that. I mean, I sorta did? I know that there are herbivores out there that are aggressive but I thought it was only towards things they saw as threats and stuff.
