Every garage band I was ever in played this one, going 20 or 30 minutes. Fun to play and everyone knew it. When I finally got into a good band, same thing. A real crowd pleaser.
Diana Ross didn't write the song her version was good vanilla fudge is greater I holland-dozier-holland one or all three wrote the song they wrote a lot of good jams Motown Philly etc Paul Carpenter Rochester New York born and bred
1:32 was used in the beginning part of the finale episode of The Sopranos Season 6 Episode 21 called Made in America when Tony wakes up out of bed holding a shoutgun!
Hello Pauline this is Paulie from Rochester New York I just saw your thing you know I'd be dancing with you at the concert from the Renaissance album to the first and last goodbye
The Supremes brought this out at the peak of Motown, marking Year Zero for real dance music. Then came Vanilla Fudge with their acid version; Jimi did some Bob Dylan songs in his style, and music was never the same. Our band would do this tempo, then crank into Motown. Twenty minutes, and a crowd pleaser. Memories!
i used to think that cozy powell had the heaviest touch from the classic rock era 67-76, but i decided to change my vote to carmine.
As I drummer, I saw him as a model. Mitch Mitchell, Don Brewer, John Bonham, and (of course) Ginger Baker. Man, did I want to be them. Memories!
Yeah I'm i a guitar man with those drums mentioned I wish I was a drummer

'cept carmine couldn't cary Powell's jock
A lot of people think that Keith Moon was the role model for The Muppet's Animal. Hmmm. I tend to see Carmine there.
You all keep me hanging on ! IT'S been a fun long trip ! Keep it going forever to keep us all young ! I'll love you music till I die !!

Fantastic. After all those years absolutely great.
I heard this on a/m radio the first time so cool to be around in those days
At one time i thought this group had a whole orchestra behind them. Till this day, i still don't believe all that came from just the four of them.
A total Brain ROCKER - one of the best ever created and performed so awesomely!
Nothing beats a Hammond B-3....
Love Bogert's style !
Owning this song...orchestration beyond classic. Diana Ross, thanks for starting all this!

Carmine is one of my favorite all-time drummers.

Ok now. Vince looks real different. Nice comeback.
Vince wasn't join the session. That guitarist is Teddy Rondinelli. He was along with the later life of Felix Pappalardi.
It's a guy I grew up with in College Point, Queens ... Bill Pascalli
Thanks

Where are Stein and Martell? This lineup sounds good, but it's not the same. I saw Bogert and thought it was the original lineup.
"whadda ya do?!!" ...... lol, what a cheeseball
leopard skin covered drum shells - balls
No Vinnie, Mark or Pete.....1/4 Fudge
I mean, Tim was an original member, so I’d say Half Fudge
Carmine is the best of all time. Nuff said.
