Wild. That looks like a walkway …I am all into studying ancient structures. Not to go too far out but history is much deeper than taught and America was populated by a lot more than native Americans.

That hike looks very much like some I've done in TN and AL. Really enjoying all the adventures.
I do something similar except I dip my bread in beaten egg with cinnamon and honey (French toast if you will) then put an egg sunny side up on it. Serve with maple cured sausage links, large biscuits and Smuckers Natural Blackberry Jelly or Smoky Mountain Jellies and Preserves. Great video! I need to get down in your neck of the woods. I live in Louisville, KY. My uncle used to live on Lake Maumelle, near Little Rock when I was little. I haven’t been to AR since.
Some people have a gene that makes cilantro taste like soap. Also, a lot of Tex mex joints make their quest blanco(the runny white cheese dip that forms a little skin when it sits for a few mins.) with white American cheese, green chilis, a little diced jalapeño and some milk.

Kelly, your burritos look great, you are a great cook. I love Manchego cheese. I get it from Costco. it is from Spain and is a sheep cheese. I like the taste just as it is and eat it on it’s own or with crackers. Manchego is easier to digest says my Naturopath.

Looks like y'all are gonna have to start coordinating trail maintenance days, like the days you have for clean-ups. That trail really needs some care, right?! It's so beautiful and it's a shame people might be discouraged from enjoying it due to lack of care. Though, it's also true that it will stay pristine with fewer people. 😞 GORGEOUS FALLS!!!

It was so cool to see a great article and interview with you two in the El Dorado AR news times today! My tennis buddy told me that he read an article about a full time camping couple in the Arkansas Gazette last week and I asked, "were they named Kellie and Cody?" And he said, "Yes, that's them". Since our paper is owned by the same company I felt they'd print it in ours as well and they did! It was very positive and complimentary of you both and you did a great job with your interview answers!
Old cilantro (unpicked) tastes like soap, especially if temperatures were too warm before it was picked. We used to grow it for farmers market.

Man, I grew up in TX and was on the edge of my whits watching you three hike in SANDALS through snake territory on this hike! As you mentioned, I know there are moccasins and copperheads out there!!!!! Please protect yourselves! My sister was bitten by a copperead and almost didn’t survive! I know you are experienced on that trail but it would take a long time to get help back there and the venom would circulate everywhere. ❤️ Concerned Viewer

Those huge boulders are called Glacial Eratics. We have one in my hometown that makes those look like pebbles. If you've ever been to Baxter State Park in Maine, we came across one that was so big, it boggled the mind. Larger than a house.

Cilantro, fresh or otherwise tastes like soap to me. Research says that there are some people who have a different gene in their body and people with that gene in their body often find that cilantro tastes like soap.

Aren't there copperheads and water moccasins all over the area? Edit: Oops, you mention it later. BTW those round fossils are crinoid stalks. The gravel pile behind my childhood home was full of them. We would string the "Indian beads" into ankle bracelets.
The cilantro stems have some of the best flavor.
