Fun fact about this song, Chris actually wrote this song with the intention of having Corey Taylor feature in it as Slipknot have been a big influence on MIW. But after the feature plan fell through, they created the song anyway and you can definitely see the Slipknot inspired sound in this track in comparison to the others on the album. Particularly in the first verse.

Motionless is a pretty good example for a badly underrated band. I am listening to them for years. A lot of their songs are "Growers", this is how we call it in Germany. They get more better the more you listen to them. One of my favorites is Headache from the Disguise Album, or Broadcasting from beyond the Grave.

Immaculate misconception Abigail or undead ahead 2 are great ones ! Really cool to see you get into them they get a lot of hate because of their image but they have been putting solid albums out fir 10 years. One of the few metalcore bands that aged very well

I've seen MIW live twice and they didn't disappoint. First show was with We Came as Romans and After the Burial and it was the best show I've ever seen. MIW older stuff is super dark, super heavy but as their albums have gone along over the years, the themes of their tracks became different in a good way. They are one of my favorite bands of all time and one many have never heard of. Their 2017 album Graveyard Shift is a masterpiece.

570 has a motivating message. Love it. Not my favorite outside of the chorus but I still enjoy it.
They have alot of music and it seems to varies with each album, there song America is very Marilyn Manson influenced, while their song voices is a very hard rock track. They just have music that covers alot of different rock and metal genres, they covered Somebody told me by the killers and it was a killer cover. I highly recommend the song they did with Jonathan Davis of Korn.
They also did a cover of Dragula by Rob Zombie and Du Hast by Rammstein.

If you’re looking for more like Thoughts and Prayers, you’re definitely gonna wanna check out “Soft,” “Devils Night,” “570,” “Disguise” and “Immaculate Misconception.” They change up their style throughout the years but each album has definite call backs to their early albums. Their lyrics are phenomenal no matter the style period.

I’m 63 😳 and love this band. Saw them open for Alice Cooper in ‘19 (?) and loved it. Chris is an incredible frontman. Humor, fun and entertainment!

The music video for 'Disguise' is a thing of beauty and the lyrics themselves are pretty damn thought-provoking.
Lyrically, this is one of my favorite songs. Devils Night was the first song I ever heard by Motionless and I instantly became a fan! You should check out Immaculate Misconception, Undead Ahead 2, Reincarnate, Voices, Eternally Yours, just to name a few.

Motionless in white is one of my favorite bands because of how they incorporate so many styles and sounds yet they still sound metal. Also Chris has amazing vocals skills.
My favorite band of all time. I have been listening to them for 10 years (Creatures) and they always make some amazing music. They have so many different styles and they pull it off so dang well. Love them so much.
Been a fan of motionless since I was like 12 I’m 20 now. man I’m so happy more people are finding them and loving them I really do think they have something for everyone in the metal community. They can be extremely versatile but still have their signature to each song so you know it’s them. They just continue to grow, expand, and blow me away. I highly recommend them to everyone. I’m finally getting to see them for the first time in September and man I’m excited,

I had the same kind of prejudice towards them as you did. Their song, Voices, kept popping up on my recommended a lot. Then one day, I let autoplay run, the song came on and I was instantly hooked. Definitely recommend Voices, it's a banger (the video is pretty cool too).

Everytime I listen to Thoughts and Prayers I wish it was my first time hearing it again cause this song both surprised me and floored me with just how jawdroppingly good. And that breakdown is easily my favorite on Disguise.
If you want some more songs to checkout I'd suggest Reincarnate, Disguise, Code, Loud, Voices, 570, Eternaly Yours, Necessary Evil, Another Life and A-M-E-R-I-C-A. Code in particular feels like a hidden gem song solely because it's on an album with songs like Brand New Numb, Another Life, T&P, Disguise and Undead Ahead 2, but it's such a perfect anthemic song.
Code is beautiful and easily one of my favourites of theirs for sure! Disguise was an incredible album to be honest.
Chris Motionless is a huge hockey fan, and loooooves the NHL games. He's a great dude, very nerdy, I met him when they played here in NC with Korn and Breaking Benjamin we talked about gaming and some anime in the short time I conversed with him.

late to the party but MIW is one of those bands that you can literally pick any song from any album and just absolutely jam to it, whether you relate to the lyrics in some songs like their latest 'Masterpiece' or absolutely loose your mind over the production like in 'Undead Ahead 2'

Disguise is the lead track and its a banger...America is a great one that's a little older and 570 is on you need to listen to! Our area has produced some great bands and this is certainly one of them!

Motionless in white- off of this album- disguise, holding onto smoke, undead ahead 2, the disguise album is very diversed which is what makes them so great. other songs not on the album to check out are- america (clown directed that one), devils night, reincarnate (my first song i heard from them that made me fall in love with them), soft, rats, ladder, necessary evil ft jonathan davis, they covered somebody told me by the killers, another life, i could go on man, your just gonna have to deep dive in them.

So many to choose from. I recommend Abigail. Its just some chewy, chonky, straight up 2010 metalcore goodness.

Dude, don't feel bad, I just got into MIW about a month ago. I am in love with this band now. I wish I gave them a chance sooner as well. I also was writing them off & now I'm so mad that I did, but glad I'm into them now. 🥰 I have lots of songs to catch up on so I'm well seasoned for when they perform a live show/go on tour again. MIW is so epic man! Code, Eternally Yours, are more radio friendly songs, and their new song Timebomb is heavy like this, but had the catchiest chorus to date honestly. Ricky sings in it too and its fire!
Motionless in White are a band I've listened to pretty much constantly since around 2010 and they've always stayed as one of my favourites, if not the favourite. They've hit so many different genres and so many different styles across their albums, covers and even singles like their Motion Picture Soundtrack song versions and I just love them so much. Great to see you appreciating them!

I remember first listening to their second EP, When Love Met Destruction, back when Fallout 3 first came out and I was hooked. Their sound definitely varies widely not just between albums but even song to song. The Creatures album is my favorite of theirs, but Undead Ahead 2 may be my favorite song
Now you're in my neck of the woods! Although I'm closer to Philly. With Disguise and the previous album Graveyard Shift they went with more "power choruses" and honestly while I've always loved them, hearing more choruses in this style really cemented them for me further in my musical landscape. Not that you shouldn't check out anything from albums before those two but it's really hard to go wrong with any of the songs from those two albums. And yet another reaction video of yours i've thoroughly enjoyed.

This song is the most straight forward und brutal song on the album. For me, "Disguise" feels like a compilation album that is all over the place.
I discovered this band in 2019 through my teenage niece. She played me a couple of songs from the disguise album and just like you I could not believe I had been sleeping on these guys for so long. I even got to see them live twice before the pandemic hit and believe me, this band knows how to put on a show. Great video, love your channel! 🖤 from Belgium

YES, i love watching someone get absolutely FLOORED BY MUSIC!! Motionless has a great sound and my introduction started with Reincarnate 2014( first time i got cleanish). there are so many great songs but Dead as F**k, Reincarnate, and Everybody sells Cocaine are some of my goto songs on this album, but make no mistake i could listen to every song start to finish in album order without hitting the skip button. keep up the great reactions

Yes, this is most certainly what they sound like most of the time. I saw them live three or four years ago in Raleigh when they opened for In This Moment.

Their most recent album trended towards an active rock/metalcore blend. I would recommend Reincarnate from them next. Has a very gothic, Manson esque vibe blended with the metalcore sound

One of my all time favorite bands. I have seen them live since before their stellar album Creatures came out Tank. By far the greatest set and performance from them I have seen was when they headlined the Ernie Ball stage I think it was at Warped Tour one year. Probably the best ending set I will have ever seen for the day at a Warped Tour. The song you absolutely MUST react to by Motionless In White is named after Scranton, Pennsylvania which is their area code - song name is 570. The entire song is a giant breakdown/circle pit as you’ll see in the music video. By far my all time favorite song from this wonderful band. \m/

MIW has gotten me into actual core music. I love this band. Every album has its own sound yet has these amazing core elements of the band. The diversity drew me in. Now I have a plethora of music to try and hear for the first time thanks to this band.
OH MAN. MIW have been one of my absolute favorite bands for a long time now and they absolutely kill live. Have seen them 3 times. Off this album, Undead Ahead 2, Disguise. I recommend Immaculate Misconception, Soft, 570, Queen for Queen, Reincarnate, Puppets 1, 2, and 3. There is just so many good ones to react to!

I know I'm late but it doesn't seem anybody said that the former guitarist of Ice Nine Kills JD was featured in this video. This is my first time seeing the video but I'm pretty sure this was when JD was still in INK but he seemed to be a guest on the video.
