Emerging Sophisticated ‘Tag-team’ Scams Involve Multiple Impersonators

Larissa Bungo is a senior attorney in the Division of Consumer and Business Education at the FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection. According to Bungo, "tag team scams" are a new and emerging threat whereby teams of scammers work in tandem to intimidate would-be victims out of their money.
