Deafheaven Live at Stubbs in Austin, TX. For their album Sunbather 10th anniversary tour. On Saturday, December 16, 2023. Live tracks: Dream House Irresistible Sunbather The Pecan Tree
Nice epic I bet! I was worn down from TA lol. Overall it was nice treat to see 2 of my favorite bands sharing the same stage. Hands down the best show of the year for me. Nice way to end the year.
@@C.good2damax I actually never heard them before the concert (I came for Ringo Deathstarr). They have such an avant sound- the coolest progressions and vocalist. One of the few black metal bands I can get into.
@@billy2896 That’s awesome dude! I’ve never really heard of Ringo Death Star. They were good and have to check em out. Check out my ‘Best Albums of 2023’ some similar black metal BANDS like DFHVN if looking for something new. Cheers!!!
Thanks for this! A buddy and I were at the show too, somewhere half way between your spot and the stage. I was too entranced to take take any photos or videos, so this will help recall the show. The video is missing Vertigo, which is one of my favorites, but it is easily forgiven. Your Touché Amoré video was nice too. Looks like it is time to explore their catalogue.🤘
Yeah ofc!!! Sorry I needed to take a break while they played ‘Vertigo’ and just experience myself lol. This was my 4th time seeing DFHVN and it was the most epic performance I’ve seen. Also TA is badass. Like what the singer Jeremy said they been playing sxsw since 2008 and I’ve been to those shows and seeing them at Stubbs was so much fun. TA can never make a bad album imo. My favorite album for TA is ‘Is Survived By’. Cheers!
@@C.good2damax why do you think it was the most epic performance? while i was there the energy felt special. i wonder how the austin show ranks amongst the other sunbather anv shows
@@DanielCarter-s5x the first 3 times seeing them I was up in front in the crowd and it was great! Seeing them in the back watching the band get down together and the crowd go crazy was cool! and Stubbs has a great sound when you are in the back. And of course it was only Sunbather tracks ending w/ Brought To The Water (New Bermuda). Also to piggy back Touché Amore got the crowd pumped and that was a great performance too. Watching 2 of my favorite bands share the stage was special to me.
i was right up front. it was unbelievable.

💀
I was there at the front !!!!! :D
LOLL I can even see my hand way up towards the end flicking to the beat !!
That’s cool dude. I’ve seen DFHVN 4 times and I had to record this time, always in the crowd getting down. Best show w/ Touché Amore of the year!
We probably ran into you a few times. My side still hurts a bit, hah!
