Well, no we're living in 2023. So sad, how time flies when we're getting older. Here i am at 63 and hoping i can cheat death for some more years on earth, before i'll have to drift into the great nothing eternaly.
i can't make heads or tails of whatever point you're trying to make, and don't know what i said that would inspire what i think you're trying to say. my point is that ontop of radio becoming irrelevant due to the internet for a person to find music, mark lanegan has also never stopped making music over it not being popular. i suppose he deserves more money, but i couldn't give a shit if anyone else does or doesn't like him, and i'm sure he doesn't either. it hasn't influenced his music at all
Well hell get back in to the swing of things and find yourself. Do something totally out of what you normally do and God will begin to speak to your heart and you will then find yourself again. Hey how bout a road trip!!
Many times it is the producers and the marketing that gets a song played the most. How much do you want to spend on a piece of work? Well now it seems to be more about who is the sexiest to the viewers of the videos. If the song is great it will be heard. There are many one hit wonders and there are many musicians that have made millions on one hit wonders. Bye Bye Miss American Pie seems to come to my mind for some reason.
does god approve of exploiting the dead to get a song on the radio? if so, is it okay if i just made up a name of someone and say they died tragically? i don't even get the complaints about the radio. its not like mark lanegan isn't making records. he's sung lead and written like three full albums in the past two years. i was mad that he hasn't made a solo record since 2004, but his new projects are nearly as good as Bubblegum, which is the best record i've ever heard
