In a regular salon your gorgeous curls would be looked at as a problem to be straightened but here they were appreciated. She took so much time to understand what you wanted and actually showed you as she went in case you wanted her to fix anything instead of how most turn you around to your horror too late. She finger detangled your hair!!!!! I haven’t been to a salon in over five years but I would try this one in NYC. Thanks for posting this. It felt good in my spirit to see curls treated with respect and loving care❤️

The hair was absolutely beautiful but can we please comment and how pretty she is. Her face features are gorgeous! I love how she has her own look and not overdone with crazy contouring and crazy lashes .. in other words, has not fallen for the sad trend of making herself look like every other girl in TH-cam with the blanket everyonelooksthesame makeup look. I am super porcelain white and have mostly wavy hair with some curls. I love deva curl. It's lightweight and defines all of my curls. It really is a versatile product for all.

I love how she took the time to explain to you what she was doing and what she was going to do! She listened to you and gave you exactly what you wanted! That sister girl knew what she was doing and gave you a bomb cut! Stick with her because it’s so easy to get messed up! And when they mess you up, they don’t have any remorse about it!!!

I’ve encouraged all my natural hair girlfriends to make at least one appointment with Deva to get accurate advice and a cut that works with their hair. Best salon ever!
Nice to see a stylist know what to do with curls. Ive had some experiences lol. And sometimes the look on their face, you can see the dread! I had a great stylist, and then one day she had left and they refused to tell me where she'd gone! Never found anyone since who did a good enough job to stick with.

Volume is not the thickness of strands only. It's the way the hair lays. Her hair was top heavy in areas causing flatness.
