  • For Muslims, the notion of God taking human form is highly controversial. However, from a perspective that emphasizes God's love, the incarnation is seen as the ultimate expression of this attribute.

    Is there a greater manifestation of divine love than God descending to Earth and sacrificing Himself to redeem humanity, offering eternal life with Him in heaven? As Scripture says, 'Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends' (John 15:13).

    Makes me cry every time I watch his greatest act of love for us undeserving centers can I even not imagine the amount of holiness is that he humbled himself and his attributes to be like his children to then I became atheist cuz I thought what happened to Jesus was awful and because of religion and that God hated his son not until I was explained about the holy Trinity and that they are one then I know that Jesus is God God was Jesus in the holy Spirit there is one then I felt a sense of peace that when I knew the truth of the act of love and grace I fell in love with Jesus our father our creator like I will not stand for any sort of blasphemy

    Because Jesus loves us so much He took all the abuse and mistreat to show us How much He loves us. We supposed to imitate His love not the cruelty of those serving demons. Love one another in purity kindness service and all that is pleasing to God. The sacrifice is enduring and responding in love.

    Genesis 19:24
    24. Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
    The Lord and two angels appeared to Abraham as men. They spoke to Abraham and his wife. They prepared food and ate. Then, the Lord in the flesh rained fire and brimstone down from the Lord, the invisible God that sits on the throne, in Heaven…

    Jesus is not God he is of God, he never said he was God these people that's saying jesus is God are misleading people in the the book of John chapter 14 he talks to his disciples before his death about being in union wth his father in verse 28 especially jesus says I am going to the father,for the father is greater than I am . In verse 20 & 21 he says to his disciples, in that day you will know that I am in union with my father and you are in union with me and I am in union with you. Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me, in turn who ever loves me will be loved by my father..

    Why does Yahweh...aka "GOD" have such an affinity for blood??
    He likes the bloodshed of lambs and goats plus the aroma of their burning flesh..
    He needed his "ONLY SON" to shed blood for humanity's "sins" which is an irresponsible religious belief...that you can just scapegoat someone else to take your punishment.
    Can any Christian out there say they are willing to take the punishment for the crimes they committed rather than putting it onto someone else😂

      Hi @alexquintana1031! It’s great that you're asking deep questions, and I’m here to help provide some clarity from a Christian perspective.
      In the Bible, blood has a significant meaning related to sacrifice and forgiveness. In the Old Testament, the use of animal sacrifices was a way for people to see the seriousness of sin-it costs life. The scent of the sacrifices that you mentioned was described as "a pleasing aroma to the LORD" (Leviticus 1:9), symbolizing God’s acceptance of the people's repentance and efforts to make things right.
      When it comes to Jesus, His sacrifice was unique because, as Christians believe, He was perfect, without sin. His death wasn't just a display of suffering, but an act of love and the ultimate sacrifice that could permanently cover the sins of humanity (Hebrews 10:10). The idea here isn’t irresponsibility, but rather the extent of God’s love-that He would take on the burden of humanity's sins Himself.
      Your point about taking responsibility is really insightful. In Christianity, accepting Jesus’ sacrifice doesn't mean we shirk responsibility. Rather, it’s about acknowledging that we can’t make amends on our own and need God’s grace. Once we accept this, we are called to live in a way that reflects gratitude for that sacrifice-striving to do good and live righteously as a response to the love we've received.

      @@100huntley if magical blood rituals are at the center of their beliefs....then Christianity is a BLOOD CULT.

    • @100huntley
      @100huntley  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Alex, a "blood cult" is usually about groups that use blood rituals thinking they have some kind of magical power. These rituals often involve actual blood and are meant to please some gods or forces. The thing is, these are typically secretive, not really accepted by society, and can sometimes even hurt people who don’t agree to be part of it.
      Now, Christianity is quite different. The core of Christian faith is about Jesus sacrificing himself-once and for all, out in the open, because of love, not because of magic or to appease some angry deity. Christians see this as a huge act of love meant to fix the broken relationship between humanity and God. There’s no ongoing ritual that demands more sacrifices.
      In Christianity, blood symbolizes life and sacrifice, but it’s more about what it means on a deep, symbolic level-like starting fresh and being forgiven, not about continuous blood rituals or anything secretive. It's about a change of heart and living a life that reflects the kindness and love taught by Jesus.
      Does this make the difference a bit clearer?
