- In today's video I made trailer maintenance by fixing the truck trailer's roof. My loading made a big hole last week on the trailer's roof, so the rain entered in the trailer and I didn't want my loading getting soaked. I got a new portable gas stove for heating up the food. I wanted to show you how to buy vignette for the trucks in Slovakia.

Yes, it is crucial for a truck driver to be able to make a minimal maintenance work, because you never know when it is going to be needed.🤷🏼♀️😁
I have done some trucking years ago.
Each day I peeled some carrots, 2-4 depending on size. I kept the peeled carrots in a small zip plastic bag, with a tiny bit of water in. Then I had some snacks for the day. Raw cauliflowers taste good too, maybe sprinkle them with curry. Edamame beans with salt, lots of protein. I also tried to have a stock of apples, I love apples.
I recommend having some healthy snack around, so you have something to eat while driving.

Greetings from Scotland! Hello again Timea, sorry I was absent lately. I will tell you all about it sometime, but not right now as it is too soon and painful for me to speak about. Anyway, I am glad to see the holes are now fixed and watertight. I know how much that upset you, any damage is upsetting because you care for your truck. I loved the meal you cooked from home! cabbage wrapped meat is one of my favourite meals! I like it done with a thick gravy in a pan and simmered until ready. I first tried such a meal in Finland many years ago, with deer meat - so tasty! Sleep well young lady! 😴😴💤💤

I am very happy also, it turned out pretty good, and I didn't think this solution would work. Yeah, I was very angry with me, because I should have been more attentive, so I wouldn't make a hole, but I've learnt my lesson.😊
I like it very much, because in this recipe the cabbage is stored in a barrel to ferment approximately 3 months. You can also make it from fresh cabbage, but I like more the fermented one. 🥬😁 Whoa, I would try it from feet meat! It sure has an interesting taste.

That patch though....I wouldn't feel good with it. As a temporary fix for your next load, yeah, sure, it'll be fine, I'm all for it. But after that, I'd personaly take it to a pro, for a more permanent repair. Good job. 👍👍👍👍😎

Had google for that convoy truckstop, but darn, thats a big shop they have there, there isn't much what they don't sell.
Nice burner, did heten my meals on those too for years, now i have a inverter with microwave to heten my meals , also to make me a coffee.
Maybe something to consider , safer too as those gas burgers.

I've seen on TH-cam microwave heaters in trucks, it would make eating warm meals much easier. Not to talk about the safety. Have a great week!🌻🌞

hi Timea roof repair done and dusted well done see you bought gas stove for cooking does your truck not have inverta fitted for power to boil kettle run microwave i know power supply is different when i was in Ukraine in Lviv it was 110v 120v not sure is it the same in Romania maybe check out if inverta will suit Scania i have seen them used in UK trucks a mums cooking is the best till next 1 safe travels look after yourself out the road 👍

You made good job of repairing roof excellent . Do you have to pay in every country now ? what about foriegn truck going to Romania do they pay . When I was on the road we paid in France , Spain & Italy . all former eastern block countries were free except for getting passport stamped. Have a good week and stay safe Timea x
