I'm English but have lived in Turkey for many years. Visited most stadiums in the Turkish Superlig and below. The fans are incredible, they create an atmosphere that sometimes can be understood to be to intimadate the opposition, which in part is true. However, they show an insane love for their clubs that in my experience is unique.
Also, the Turkish people are the most welcoming and hospitable people you'll ever meet.
The most beautiful sport played in the most beautiful country anywhere.. What could be better.
I am Turkish and football hooliganism is a thing in Turkey too, unfortunately there is stabbing culture, going to a football game in Turkey can be dangerous, just like in England. You just need to know who you hang out with.

As you said, you try to fit up as much as possible. This is what I appreciate. We, as Galatasaray fans, don't like the people just come to the stadium to sit down and watch the match. Does not matter if they are Turkish, British, Spanish or from Mars!! For us, it is so important to support the team, that's it. Sometimes it happens, I just concentrate supporting then I don't even watch the match! I like the fact that you join us. This video is one of the best VLOG videos I have ever seen. Perfect. Im a Pole and what i can say is that the atmosphere on Galatasaray stadium during this match was incredibly crazy ! Whole stadium was singing , whistling and really felt every moment of this game .I would love to come to Turkey and feel this on my own skin . Sadly these days the team have stunted performances with the recent sacking of our legendary manager.
