Hi Doreen, I am watching you from Southern, California, USA. It is Sunday at 7:40 pm. Haste makes waste so take your time and make sure the work is being done correctly. 🙏❤️🇺🇸🌲🤶🎅
Also let your brother sit in future meetings with the workmen. When they think they are dealing with women they think thy can get away with shoddy workmanship. As a single woman I have people sit in with me with all my transactions and get signatures, I was taken advantage of before by mechanics but knew where to call to get the problems solved.
@blondielee5227 well the previous workers were unprofessional but these new ones are honest patient and correct where it's damaged not just continuing my house looks much better dear
I had the same problem with my first project. I think some contractors can't say "no, I don't have experience of doing this Job get someone else" They say I can do it then mess things up.
Good morning Doreen my dear you are also mentally strong, I would be so stressed out if I had to do over everything, girl God is with you, I pray that he always be your presence help 🙏🙏🙏❤️🇯🇲
So sorry for the setback, but it's better to get it done properly than have problems in the future. I love the roof and the undercoat as you call it. Very nice elegant touch to the house. 🎉🎉🎉❤
Hello Doreen sorry hope everything goes well with all the patching up, I think those guys were just rushing for money so they robbed you with doing the construction ❤❤❤
Nyabo, sorry about everything. They have given you a double job, which is very expensive. Always work with one main contractor who takes responsibility of everything and who would remain answerable for every mistake.
Its usually best to hv a plan before you do anything but in this case, now that you're a lady.. you need to first research on how each thing is done. Everyone shd hv knowledge before dealing with those constructors... They can mean to coz u every loss if you're not knowledgeable abt wat u want them to do! Plus if u show urgency that always happens, redoing stuff!
@@DoreenLukwago The "blessings/donations" won't last forever. You do know that, don't you? Your house had no "professional house plan" from a professional architect and engineer. That is why it will continue to smell because the feces and urine will backup in those long plumbing pipes. Even I can see that. Your septic pit should be located at the back of your house NOT to the side. You are wasting people's donation money on a smelly wet house. It won't be long until these donors become wiser and stop sending you money. People are not stupid.
@@christinablair1383 You are damn right that it is not me. I could NEVER waste my money on another person's house. Only FOOLS do that. I own my house and other lands without donations from anyone. I work for my money and keep it saved up for myself. I do not give donations to anyone, I'm not that foolish. Thank you for confirming!
I think I will build the shower, toilet, and sink outside if the average builder can't build it right inside the house. If they can't install tiles properly I will keep a simple cemented floor. I will build my house the old fashioned way, like our grandparents. The bathrooms, toilets and kitchens were built separate from the main house. If you needed to urinate or defecate or change menstrual rugs at night you did it in a bucket 🪣 and it got emptied out and cleaned early in the morning. For the rest of the day we used the outdoor toilet and shower. Or maybe in this house situation, the original house plan was didn't include indoor toilets and shower rooms. Maybe that was an additional the owner demanded later. They only need one toilet and shower room indoors. They already have two toilets outside. The original plan was not good. She shouldn't blame the builders. Her bedroom toilet and shower were added later without foundational walls, they weren't in the original plan. The children's toilet/shower room was originally a storage room. It is not located in the right position for a shower room. Both shower rooms/toilets are located far away from the septic tank. That house is going to smell from feces and urine backup in the long and twisty plumbing pipes. She should have kept to the original house plan withno indoor showers and toilets. Her kitchen sink is far away from the septic tank too. It will back up and smell as well. A lot of money has been wasted. This house owner changed her original house plan because she received donation money. Had she kept this house the way it was originally designed she would be finished with it by now. Indoor toilets, showers, and sinks most be included in the original house plan and placed in the right location of the house that is most close to the septic tank. The slope of the land lot must be considered as well. When I look at her house and the slope of her land, I think the kitchen should be where the living room is. The indoor toilet and shower should be located where the dinning room and kitchen is. Just by looking at the slope of the land and the location of the septic tank. Having toilets and showers inside (middle) of the house and far away from septic tanks and at the hilly side of the land slope is a VERY BAD IDEA. To save this house ALL of the indoor toilets & showers & sinks must get removed. Or else this house owner will keep on wasting money on "renovations & repairs". She should have gotten a proper engineer to make her a professional house plan from the beginning. A professional engineer would have placed the house and the septic pit in the right location of the land.
It's terrible that the previous builders did such an awful job. So much money is wasted because of them. But I'm happy you are sorting things out.
Your win is for us single mothers. You inspire us to get things together
