- you don't realize how many plants you've accumulated until you have to sit down and talk about them for 3 hours straight 🤪 but it seems like after rounds and rounds of purging, my anthurium collection has continued to grow exponentially. i thought it would be a good time to document them as they are now because i feel like i'm FINALLY starting to get a hang of this anthurium thing and have high hopes in terms of growth for next year! in this video i solely take you through all the anthurium in my collection, but next week i'll be doing a Q&A and take you through some of my wishlist anthurium 🤞🏼

I have a few magnificum seedlings that are just getting their first few sparkly veined leaves (I'm SO obsessed & baffled at how they're literally glittery?!?!) , and my Clarinervium is one of my favourite plants in the month or so that I've had it! I have a couple of other types but those 2 are my stand outs!
I get the hype completely after seeing them in person!! 🥰😩🙌🏻
I learned soo much from You and Alice. I put my Anthuriums in self watering pots, pon and a little tree fern fiber and the TPS fertilizer that you both recommend…they take care of themselves 👍. I fill the self watering pots when low, admire them, a little TLC hand touch and I keep on going 😉.

A hybrid I think is so stinking cute is the dorayaki x lux! I have both parents, but they are at stump stage so I’m fighting the urge to hunt on down instead of pollinating my own 🫣
The Anthurium Balaoanum isn’t all that impressive in its juvenile form, but I’m looking forward to seeing it when it’s mature. I was given a clone of a plant my friend collected herself in Peru (LEGALLY) in 2001. It’s precious to me 😊
The Anthurium Cupulispathum is another one that isn’t all that impressive when juvenile, but as an adult, be still my heart!
Beautiful collections. Hoping that you could have splendidum hybrids and talk about this hybrids. Just recently i purchased 3 splendidum hybrids:

-Splendid Martina (Splendidum x Bessae)

Also, would love to hear about the type/kind of pots where this plants are planted. Like literally would love to hear topics between claypot vs plastic ones vs clear plastic ones.

I have a lot similar issues. My lux won't do anything. Just yellows. My crystal x gigi turns into a rice crispy. My clarinervium is a drama queen. My mag x noid lost all of its leaves. I'm growing them in 3 different conditions. Recently switched to self-watering. I'm the proud owner of many healthy stumps.

Even your ‘regular’ palidaflorum has the same width all the way down. Mine are narrow at the top and then they get wide at the bottom, it almost looks deformed, I don’t understand…😂 anthurium are so weird

What’s the silica-pocalypse she keeps mentioning? I use silica. Is there something wrong using that?
If I remember correctly, she just used too high of a dosage. silica is great! ☺️
She used it on her no drainage anthurium with disastrous results. The same thing happened to mine in no drainage. It sucks.
