Hiking to THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN - Los Angeles

I'm not much of a hiker, but this was fun. Starting off at Griffith Park, I walked the Hollywood Hill trails, never absolutely certain that I was going the right way or anything, and hiked my way to the classic and legendary Hollywood Sign. I wanted to see how close I could get to it on foot. I could have got closer, I suppose, but my feet were giving out after an hour or two. I hadn't really expected just how long and secluded the hike would be. At one point I heard a growling coming from not too far away, and not wanting to be attacked by a mountain lion or anything, I grabbed a rock for self defense and kept moving. Fortunately I didn't need it. I met some horseback trail riders and saw some kids zip through on electric bikes being pursued by Park Service rangers, but otherwise it was fairly quiet. The views were really something, as you'll see. Sorry the video isn't longer, I was trying to save the battery for the big reveal.
