They will always be biased, they love seeing the same winners over and over again because their small brains can't handle surprises and upsets. Absolutely ! Imagine Italy and humiliation they’re still going through watching the World Cup again. I’d bet they come back furiously in 24’ Euros & 26’ WC.
Trying to get sympathy? You just made up a fake scenario to slide in that last sentence. It’s fair to feel bad about your team going out, regardless of how many times they have won it previously.
Not necessarily. The only decent player they have coming through is Masiala, who was induced to jump from England's international set up! As he learned his trade at Chelsea's Cobham football academy. I wonder if he is now regretting his choice?
Should've kept their head in the game for that Japan match rather than thinking about what gimmick they're going to do for publicity stunt. Started with closing their mouth to being silenced altogether in the end.
They could have still qualified. Germany had 10 big chances vs Costa rica. They would have gone through if they had scored 7. They only managed to score 4.
Germans never faced difficulties against such weaker teams who sit back, and that was due to the efficiency the Germans had once, in which to rely simply on crosses with a classic CF to execute; but now we have these philosophers wannabe coaches who prefer to complicate things even against such opponents!
You make a good point my friend. The Germans have always been good at playing simple, direct, clever and efficient football. Half of the Bayern team was playing today, in reality they should have gone through. Also, im sure all the players in the German squad were selected on merit, but where are the native German players these days? They used to produce so many solid players in the past. Now it seems like the sons of immigrants have greater desire and motivation to be footballing greats.
There is a reason that most teams that lose the first group game do not get out the group. Had Germany gotten a point vs Japan , they’d finish with 5 points overall and be preparing for the round of 16.
Could've should've would've, started with covering their mouth, ended with being silenced all together. Had their head was for playing football in that Japan match, they would've won that game easily.
I mean the could, and even if they did make it through, they'd still not go far. Germany is known for playing simple, direct and quick football, with a pure classic #9, that's the German way. Since the beginning of the World Cup Germany 🇩🇪 was over confident , they treated every opponents with little respect . I don’t understand Kimmich at RB. He’s a top 5 midfielder in the world playing right back. He hasn’t played on the right since Pep was at Bayern. I’m a City fan, but if I had to sacrifice Gundo so that Kimmich could play through the middle, I wouldn’t hesitate.
I don't understand why Hans Flick always play Sule. The running style of Sule is awkward. His defense is not great. In Germany's 11 players, there are 8 players are Bayern Munich or ex-Bayern Munich players under Hans. Kimmich is no longer exciting, and his pass is no longer magical. Sane is ordinary and emotional. Loew was correct not to take him to the World Cup. I think Loew is the best coach Germany had.
Football teams such as Germany and Spain (or European teams in particular ) have to learn to have respect for all nations regardless of how strong or weak they are in football. Trust me, this is just the beginning and Japan showed the whole world that the future of this game will not going to belong to some specific countries. The reason: Germany, Belgium, Denmark, and Wales are out. Argantina was also lucky to get through the first round.

Not a German supporter but I never really considered Hansi Flick the right man for this German National Team. What Schweinsteiger said can be taken in two perspectives, 1. He is wrong, the Bundesliga is full of German Talent, but who is scouting and picking them, if Bayern could they would have bought them all, team selection for the German team may be a bit biased, 2 if developing certain type of players is a problem then there must be a cause, maybe a certain Bundesliga rule or clause? When it comes to generating the next talent Spain, Netherlands and Germany are usually the best at it, Germans have no excuse for this one. All I hear from Hansi are excuses.
Without OZIL, MULLAR WAS A WASTE. Klose retiring and not getting the proper replacement on time. These r actual causes apart from arrogant mentality. This all caused this situation. Mind frame of Germans need introspection.
Just give Japan their credit. They were underrated. They’ve got the players. Managers. Unity in their team. Germany’s problem was that they underestimated a good team, so did Spain, and it was snobbery the reason that Germany is going home.
Nobody under estimates anybody anymore today. Japan was the superior team. Everyone in the world plays on a high level today. I am not surprised by these results.
Since the very beginning Germany national team and their coach were very disrespectful to qatar and their culture they said if we won the World Cup we won’t celebrating Qatar now I’m very happy very very happy to see them out
Raum was the best German player in the match - but what does Flick do in the second half? He takes him out! It is the inconsistancy of Flick's substitutions that has been spoiling Germany's games. Instead of playing Füllkrug AND Thomas Müller right from the start, he left Füllkrug on the bench then substitutes him for Müller! That was ridiculous. As I said elsewhere on this channel, Müller and Füllkrug are two completely different types of player who can play well together doing their own thing, not just one OR the other.
I told a friend of mine in October Germany would be lucky if they advanced from the group stage. Germany NEVER had a clinical striker for World Cup. I can forgive the defending. BUT THEY NEEEEEEEED A STRIKER!!!
Remember klose and Gomez. Mario Gomez was an extraordinary striker yet he didnt get the recognition as much as muller or schweinsteiger got. Criminally underrated he was. Germany has to find someone like him in backup or they will face timo werner situation.
What a great day for football! What a great world cup! Big congratulations to japanese people all over the world. The tournament need countries that respect rules and culture of the host, teams that focus on football to give maximum entertainment. Well done Japan!
We kinda deserve it for our stunt against Japan but i have high respect for Musiala.. Boy gave everything 90 minutes long. I really wanted him to score, felt sad
Talking about Unai Simon I need to express that it wasnt his mistake as the media has directly accused him for. Japan really pressed high. The Japan left winger and one was maeda i can remember. Left wing guy relentlessly pressurized spain backline and immediately maeda continued it to Simon, forcing him to play ball forward. This is where Japan is really good.
Germany was always very succesful because they always played the block system - whole blocks of players in the national team from one or two of the best German clubs who knew each other like the back of their hands. Flick did it today by having seven (!) players in the start team from Bayern Munich. England, even back in the 1970's onwards could never do that because the best clubs always had players from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland in their teams who played for their different national teams. Nowadays that situation has got worse with all the foreign players in the English club teams. In the Bundesliga there are now also many socalled foreign legionaires, but Germans are still in the great majority. The problem for Germany is that only two - maximum three - clubs are up to the highest standard of European club football; Bayern, Dortmund and maybe Mönchengladbach. After that there is a wide gap - it is no wonder that Bayern has won the Bundesliga for decades now, hatdly ever really being challenged by any other club. But even Bayern now depends on foreign players - so do you see where I am going with this?
As a Bayern Munich and German National team fan since 1996, I really hope M.Neuer, T.Muller and some players who really wanted to promote LGBT rights and wear "One Love" armbands before the Japan game gets jobs at the UN Nations human rights department as an LGBT and "One Love" armband representative.
The German coach should have started young forwards like Adeyemi and Moukoko with a solid midfield of Gundogan and Musiala for support. I believe there are younger and better players for Germany that could have done the job for this world cup. The older players could have provided the stability once the game is already clinched or provide some spark on the last minutes of the game. The German FA need to realize that the last time they won a world cup,it was full of young and talented German players.
Totally agree look at england . Look how good they are doing with their young players. Get your young players in the starting 11 and build from there. 2024 euro in germany time to start with a new paradym shiff out with the old bring im the new.
I think Flick is the biggest problem. He is ok, but he is not a world championship level coach. He does not bring Germany to a higher level and he does not have a system that fit todays soccer trend. Mueller is a great player, but he is not alpha one, and he needs more dynamic players around him to be effective. Germany doesn’t have a great #9 now so he could not be his old self anymore.
What is wrong with Germany once famous for Beckenbauer, Buchwald, Brehmer,, Ziege, Briegel, Forster, Augenthaler, Helmer, vogts, Kaltz and CO….Now it was just a bunch of chicken without head running around, sule is a joke for a sweeper, flick is just a copy of loew, if flick still be a coach then Germany will disqualify again in next euro 2024 at home, shameful 😏
Man this Flick should be sacked without thinking twice. You play against a much weaker team that will sit in the defense and you'll be needing dozen of goals to secure your qualification, and yet, you still choose to put the ghost Müller as your CF?
I wouldn’t blame Flick for this. The defense is a major flaw at the moment. Raum was fantastic on offense but failed to get back a lot. Sule is a big waste of space and Klostermann was clueless most of the time. Rudiger was the best defender and even he made costly mistakes. Not picking Hummels made no sense to me for this tournament. He’s too smart to not be back there when the rest of the defense is a struggle. Ginter should have been starting over Sule.
It doesn't look like it but actually it is in a certain way, fowards had plenty of very big chances to win against Japan & Spain and there is a massive mistake on Japan's seecond goal, some times the coach isn't the only responsible.
@@M4ke4l I totally disagree with you. In the first game, when german was leading 1-0 to Japan, Flick made 5 stupid subs for Germany. And it costed the lost
Its embarassing that Spain lost this game in this way. They knew Germany wouldnt score 7 more goals when they saw the result at halftime and just threw the game. The moment Costa Rica got the lead Spain was very nervous. Its just a scandal and has nothing to do with sportsmanship. Over 80% possession and still no shot from 46-75. minute. If this is accepted the next step would have been Germany gifting Costa Rica 3 goals in the last minutes to knock Spain out. Basically the same Spain did but even more obvious. Its the World Cup and this is the opposite of fair play. Shame on Spain.

They hate fun, they hate the concept of football, they're just using it as a 'show' of strength. Morocco, Japan, Senegal, Australia could all go and win the world cup but they will never get the attention a top team gets.

They could have still qualified. Germany had 10 big chances vs Costa rica. They would have gone through if they had scored 7. They only managed to score 4.
They dominated that first half and should have been more than 1 goal ahead, it's their own fault they're out lol.

In 2018, Germany was stuck in a 2014 mindset. Now, it doesn’t seem like they care at all.
Raum was the best German player in the match - but what does Flick do in the second half? He takes him out! It is the inconsistancy of Flick's substitutions that has been spoiling Germany's games.
Instead of playing Füllkrug AND Thomas Müller right from the start, he left Füllkrug on the bench then substitutes him for Müller! That was ridiculous. As I said elsewhere on this channel, Müller and Füllkrug are two completely different types of player who can play well together doing their own thing, not just one OR the other.
