I invited Christ into my life early January of 1967, then a few months later went to the Billy Graham Crusade at Forest Falls, Ca., Then after my two years in the army in Korea and returning to my home town of San Bernardino, Ca. I attended his crusade at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Ca. Wonderful memories.
Just as I am ,Gods amazing unconditional Love of God ,i accepted Christ at 7 years old and im 66 now Ive been in the valley on the mtns and in between.The truth that Jesus coveted our sins is only part of what he did ,he took our anxiety ,our fear ,our defeated periods he took it on himself .It takes a while to absorb the concept,but its wonderful.Sad that he was harmed suffered beaten killed but overcame death ,now we have heaven.Dont try to be oerfect just be you.just as you are. Now i sit at my heavenly fathers table to dine my father is in heaven with my family .Its okay i know where im going and i know Gods love .

I will never forget the first time I went to a Billy Graham Revival as a little child in the 1970's I knew from the Van we all were jammed into something was big we are going to..Once we got to the Oakland Coliseum Area that place was packed and the energy there has never been the same even going to the World Series games.....I will never forget going and remembering all the love in that place something our country and world lacks today...

I have listened to this song and its accompanying narrative so many times and each time that I do so, it leaves me with a certain reverence for the Lord Jesus Christ and a growing respect for Evangelist Billy Graham, the humble farmer's son from Charlotte NC who God used across nations and over a period of 70 years to witness Jesus to Presidents and average folks. It is even more so now that this servant of Jesus Christ just died. I bless the name of the Lord Jesus for the life that Billy lived. I believe that his entry into heaven will be heralded with bugles and cymbals....for a humble and a repentant sinner who, despite his shortcomings, never ceased to tell people about the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

I remember so well my family gathered in front of the TV watching every Crusade while I was growing up. It always made me feel so blessed to be in a good Christian home where we shared this time together back in the 50s, 60s and the early 70s . I gave my life to Jesus at an early age. I can't exactly remember how old I was. Now I am a Great Grandma and love to share these old hymns with my family. Praise God He allowed me to come, just as I am!
Faithfully, did this man of God traverse back and forth through out our nation calling her to repentance. Instead, she has hardened her heart to the tender pleading of the Holy Spirit. Now, there is nothing left for this once great nation but desolation, judgment and untold horrors. Following a brilliant star...and their hearts...bearing gifts. Fulfilling prophecy. You were Divinely protected from an envious king, who sought to have you killed, and committed mass infanticide. You learned and grew in a traditional and humble Jewish home. Visiting the temple at age 12. Speaking truths to the religious leaders of the time. Beginning Your ministry at age 30. Touching so many lives...healing the sick, casting out demons...making the blind to see, the lame to walk again. You even raised Your friend, Lazarus from the dead! And, knowing Your time was drawing near, You threw Yourself onto the ground, crying to the Father to somehow spare You from the necessary sacrifice. As You stood to leave, one of Your best friends betrayed You with a kiss. Peter, trying to protect You drew his sword, striking a soldier's ear off. And instead of running or leaving him to bleed, You gently knelt down, picked it up, and placed it back upon his head! That alone should have proved You were who You said You were...the Only begotten of the Father. Just as it did years ago, as I watched every crusade with my family growing up, it brought me such peace. This video brought me to tears seeing all the saints in this video who have gone home. I can only imagine the joy they are feeling and the songs they are singing to our Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus. God bless you and keep you !!

this song takes me back to the 50's and 60's when it seemed-everyone watched in our small town and when 'this' song came on-i felt it to my heart-i was not 'yet' saved but when i was about 13-i did get saved-i LOVE this song!
I too was saved at 13 in 1965 and have never been so happy as I am to know that the Lord Jesus guides me to my home ..I love the Lord Jesus
I remember so well my family gathered in front of the TV watching every Crusade while I was growing up. It always made me feel so blessed to be in a good Christian home where we shared this time together back in the 50s, 60s and the early 70s . I gave my life to Jesus at an early age. I can't exactly remember how old I was. Now I am a Great Grandma and love to share these old hymns with my family. Praise God He allowed me to come, just as I am!
This world is too busy very busy to remind me of heaven....thanks for this song that constantly reminds me of my final resting place.
Faithfully, did this man of God traverse back and forth through out our nation calling her to repentance. Instead, she has hardened her heart to the tender pleading of the Holy Spirit. Now, there is nothing left for this once great nation but desolation, judgment and untold horrors. To the same degree that love and grace was poured out by the preaching of this great man, the rod of chastisement will be now administered without remedy.

You learned and grew in a traditional and humble Jewish home. Visiting the temple at age 12. Speaking truths to the religious leaders of the time. Beginning Your ministry at age 30. Touching so many lives...healing the sick, casting out demons...making the blind to see, the lame to walk again. You even raised Your friend, Lazarus from the dead! And, knowing Your time was drawing near, You threw Yourself onto the ground, crying to the Father to somehow spare You from the necessary sacrifice. As You stood to leave, one of Your best friends betrayed You with a kiss. Peter, trying to protect You drew his sword, striking a soldier's ear off. And instead of running or leaving him to bleed, You gently knelt down, picked it up, and placed it back upon his head! That alone should have proved You were who You said You were...the Only begotten of the Father. Instead, You willingly went and faced the torture and cruel crucifixion...taking upon You EVERY sin that had been or would EVER be committed! Some of Your final words being, "Father, forgive them! They do not know what they are doing!". Even in the agony and throes of death, You thought of others, not of Yourself. Today, and every day, please help me to not get distracted by pride, position, or power-but instead, give me the strength to humbly follow Your example. Amen.

It wasn't this hymn that made people walk forward...but it's still pretty powerful stuff. Lovely to hear an experience from the UK crusades too. Made me cry. Just had a really testing year this past 12 months...but praise God, he has been through it with me!
