I made a whole in the bottom of bird bath and made it a planter. I live on the east cost so we have a very cold winter. So I let my daughter put annual flowers in it that she likes. If I put any of my House plants outside in the summer I have to bring back in when fall comes. I’m been trying to find a lot of perennial plants that are cold hardy or grow back from the roots for my yard this year. I also started keeping house plants this year. I have had one or two here and here in the past. I never knew anything about them and always killed them. I still don’t have any luck with ferns or succulents. Now, if I put succulents outside and just leave them they stay alive. Not looking forward to fall when I’ll need to bring them in 😖.
