i won my evolution cup yesterday, with dex after 5 rounds. Against "Demon lords" 2-0 , "Red hybrid" 2-1, "red purple imperialdramon" 2-0, and "omnimon" 2-0 in the final. Our list is very similar exept i dont run purple memory boost but instead i run 3-3 split of eiji and 4 analog. instead of the digimon emperor i run 2 ruinmode that. and i run 4-4-4 rookie line up instead of the x-antibody proto form. and i ran 3 dex dorugamon instead of the calling from darkness. i never thought i needed it since i could use bowmon to digivolv from trash instead. But nice list i might move some studd to try out proto form
@Dracometallic i like the ideer of doru djinn, but I think the deck deletes enough already, I might try it out at some point. If ukko gets limited I might try some options or maybe st gabutmon for memory and inherent draw 1 trash 1 or promo dracmon for it ability to digivolv from trash on play
Although I disagree with purple base being better, love the way you built the deck, just found it odd you only ran 3 doragoramons, did you ever brick on them? Also just realised thanks to what you said dorugreymon can actually bring kosuke back too if he’s in trash!! 😮😮
@ChunIsMeK each base as their own merits, the reason why I think purple base is better in most scenarios is of how efficient the lvl3 Loogamon can mind link with the 5(+) Eiji tamers you play if they're in trash for whatever reason. Like I also mentioned, BT17 Bowmon allows you to evolve from the trash, making resource management much easier. And no, I was able to see all of the Dorugreys when I needed them the most, and I guess that's why bowmon inherit is is good for if your lvl6s are in trash While the black base does have merits such as immunity to bounce effects, the combos are very rigid. The first being is that kosuke can only be slotted from hand and there are no ways to search out Kosuke if you play cards like Cool Boy and BT7 Dorumon, while tyrannomon can help, those two searches can't get that. What do you think about Doru djinn? And what would you run instead if ukko gets banned/limited?
