I just want to say in my own defense that I saw grismold and skullclamp and was blinded by potential value. Stay in school, don’t keep one landers kids, no matter the fairy tale scenario you could get
I myself have a Grenzo deck, but it's Goblin based. I have some of the same cards but would definitely be interested in seeing this deck list for it if possible.
Yeah, this is the deck that I played in the video: www.archidekt.com/decks/1003903#Grenzo,_Dungeon_Warden_(MTGO) There is still a fair bit of goblin synergy in there, just didn't see a lot of it that game. Hope it helps you with some ideas for your own deck.
Hey there, I really like your videos. Just wanted to point out that I would have kept the lands and the boots when you were empty handed so that you have more draws with puzzle box. I assume you have better cards in your deck then second boots and a forest when having an empty hand.
I love me some grenzo. I always thought crystal ball was a trap and not worth running though. Replace it with a creature and just activate grenzo instead of spending that mana to try to stack your deck.
If you think that way about Doubling Season, I question its purpose in your list. There’s *never* a time that a Doubling Season won’t elicit a ton of attention, but quadding it up is generally worth the heat.
Combo is a way to end a game, and susceptible to disruption as much as a strategy such as creature swarm. I'd be interested to hear why you don't think it requires any skill though, I'd say that getting your pieces into place and picking the right time to go off takes as much skill as any mid range strategy. @Jeff Norris, Storm is as non-interactive as a combo finish and doesn't always have the guarantee that it is a win on the spot. Why do you see it as time saving or creative?
In reference to time saving, I’m referring to how long it takes to initiate a lot of combos on the platform. As far as being creative, i think it’s harder to win chaining spells together than having a few pieces that usually go infinite. Combo is fine but it still doesn’t mean I like losing to it online.
@@jeffnorris211 Yeah, can't argue with any of that. MTGO can certainly be click heavy for something relatively simple in paper. Definitely chaining spells, other than extra turns - which I would classify as combo too - is harder, and less in my wheelhouse so I can get where you're coming from. I'm from a none cedh paper meta where about 50% of games are won by recursive loops for value, or flat out 'I win', so combo is just part of what I expect.

Geezzuzzz... that's a game! Loved that Grenzo deck! GG T-Kai!
Hamza and Grenzo: two of my favourite commanders in one video. One of which is present *twice* ! :)
Nadier and Gilanra at Tanagra when the walls fell.
One of my favorite TNG episodes.
This is great, thanks for taking the time to entertain me 😀
I think I might have been that tomb player with my Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker. We played recently and had that extra salty guy.
Finally built this deck I love it

@@benclifton8071 I love Grenzo, Power Bottom! The sheer amount of shenanigans you can get into at instant speed are amazing!

Could you not play Generous Gift on the Cauldron of Eternity, so Murderous Redcap would stay in the graveyard?

I miss the opening jingle ;_;
Modular creatures are good to go for Hamza
Yeah that’d be cool. Bet there’s a few graft creatures that can do in there too.
@@tribalkai How do you feel about the Reinforce ability?
+1 counters? Non human commander? Green?
THE CEO OF GENEROSITY INC DIDN'T RISE TO THE TOP BY BEING MERCIFUL TRIBAL KAI!
I hate losing to infinite like no1 can win without it anymore no skill at all
I’m with you! I like people being more creative and dealing with combat or storming off. Mtgo combos are boring and take forever to play out.
