  • You do not need a Dibia to feed your Chi. Watch and learn how you can do this important Igbo rite by yourself. Your Chi is your personal guide. The job of feeding or energising your Chi is your job or your father's job if you are not of age.

@@mcsc730 Is not about connecting or not. It clear that you do not know what Chi means because if you do you would not have mentioned anything about connection. CHI is part of Nne-Chukwu you do not compare CHI to the created which Agwu is and you can not feed any CHI for that matter. You only pray and seek for guidance from your CHI. Agwu on the other is you in terms of your true self. What you are using now is ogodo Nne-Chukwu (body) and it is temporary you use it and return it to Ana. You feeding your Agwu is feed your true-self in reality your soul.

You cook it without oil. Mainly, we use local spices to cook Nri Muo. Basically, salt, pepper, onions, Uda, mkpuru uziza. It does not mean you cannot add Maggi. What is objectionable is Oil.

Many people that use ogirisi leaves are those who help people to feed their Chi. Or those that want to do a general ritual, they use ogirisi leaves as the contact point. Once you have your own effigy the only place ogirisi leaves come in is to maybe place it on the floor to avoid diets before you drop the effigy. Or place it on the floor before you drop your Ofo, this for Dibias.

Yes, you can travel with it. But i will advise you rather travel with a duplicate and leave the main one at your ancestral base. This way when you want to travel back to Nigeria you leave the duplicate. This way you are saved the stress of moving with the ogirisi each time you travel.
