My ex pulled a PPP loan and she doesn’t even own a business! No collateral let alone the credit to do anything! Fraud up and down and my friends who actually own their own business got denied…

What are your thoughts on the fraudulent loans of $20k and under? Many state that the Feds are not concerned with loans $20k and under.

Great question. The answer is not simple. But these smaller loans may be low hanging fruit that although each loan is small, the aggregate is likely significant. If investigations can be streamlined, I see it as a recovery pot.

When the next opportunity comes up, I bet con artists will lie on loan applications again... they'll just keep it at or under $30k. Why not, if they won't be punished anyway?

Do you not use the money or do you still have to use it for payroll and stuff like thst
Funds are supposed to be used for business purpose. It is not free money.
