I don’t think the Gap will affect your application in any way. But I think you should be prepared to give a fitting answer if they ask you there is a gab of five years. A fitting answer might be health reasons, for work experience etc. I think saying that you were just home won’t be a fitting answer But once again I doubt it will have any effect on your visa application

Usually you are supposed to prove only for the first academic regardless how long you program is . I have heard a few Case where some students in Nigeria were told to make payment for the first two years. But that rarely happens

So I quick one I don’t know where you are but since I am from Ghana I can talk about Ghana system. So on the embassy’s website they stated that sponsors must be in Ghana or Germany ( verpflichtungserklärung ). So with your dad who is in The Netherlands you have to find out directly from the embassy. I know people who got sponsored by family members in France and other European countries. So apart from this I think you are good to go.

Eventhou the school didn’t ask you have to add it. I always suggest that it’s better you correct all your mistakes if you can . Sometimes they can over look it but sometimes it becomes a problem
It really doesn’t make any difference. But if it’s your second bachelors or your second masters and they are in two totally different field the person interviewing would ask why a sudden change in your field of study.

Hello bro; I already have an admission with the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Berlin Germany, which I will be having the first one year of study at Finland because it's a joint program between Finland and Germany, I've been granted Resident Permit in Finland, however, I have a little difference in my name arrangement; On my international passport, I have Olaide as my first name while Elijah is the Other names but on the admission letter for my studies i have Elijah as the first name while Olaide is the other name. Though while applying for the Resident Permit Card in Finland, that was when I actually got to know and we were told how to input our names in the permit application form so that it can correlate. Also, I just did an affidavit to that effect concerning the arrangement of my name to be in line with that on the international passport. During those 8 years, I don't have much documents to show work experience. 1year I was studying in an Engineering college and then dropped out. I had a certificate of participation in a mechanical workshop during my college that year. Then I was doing some part time works to support my family. Cuz I had financial problem. I could show a document of my poor financial status. And I was doing some local household electrical service for which I don't have much documents bcz I didn't work for any company . If I got an acceptance letter from say from a public university in Germany for MS, What will be the chances of getting a visa ? (My bachelor electrical engineering , my cgpa average . 10th grade very good, 12 th grade average ) (some study abroad consultancy told me that there's higher chances of rejection. Though they aren't authorized consultant. I'm so confused.)

It is necessary for students to submit their documents to DAAD for certification. They point out mistake in the application and also give hints about the interview. Soon students claim they went to the embassy without going through DAAD. But I think it’s advice for go there before showing up at the embassy.
