When a tire falls on a car you still have 3 tires left, when a tire fails on a bike you only have 1 left. Replace the tire. A plug in the shoulder will never last. Especially up front.

It‘s one thing to do this on cars - when the tire bursts you still got a cage with airbags around you - but it’s another story on motorcycles, where you immediately end up on the asphalt at best, at worst you end up under a truck or wrapped around a tree. You shouldn‘t risk your life for an average of 50 bucks.
You drilled a hole in that tyre and stuck a bolt in it and covered it in mud, why not show a realistic scenario and pressure test the tyre afterwards. Thess plugs look a bit thin and it went in real easy, probably comes out easy too, think i prefer the original design with a sticky rope.

Well of course it isn't Einsteins this for EMERGENCY USE only if you have to get your bike home or to a shop it's better than riding on flat or pushing your bike. Not everyone likes to be towed or have the option to, so this is a last resort, just be smart and ride slower.
They never tell you that tho. They only show you can fix it. And with the current state of dumb ass people I think it's good to remind them that they need to get it changed.

I always gave him a hard time about it but he will always come up with a terrible excuses like "oh I only ride to work anyway and don't usually go any faster than 60 or I might as well use it until worn since it's almost time for a new pair anyway". It's obvious that its a terrible idea but there will always be knuckle heads who will never listen until they learn the hard way, like my friend.

Ok, 1. You are only supposed to patch in the center 1/3rd of a motorcycle tire, so a shop would make you replace it. 2. That'll work to get you to a shop on a streetbike. 3. Might as well save your money and get the black sticky ones at any autoparts store. 4. There are better more permanent plugs out there for tubeless tires.

I know other people said this already but if you're actually riding don't use this tire anymore. Car got 4 tires and you can chance it. On a bike at high speed and high temperature you don't want to take a risk. Plus motorcycle tires are cheap enough anyway.
They used this way to fix my tire and didn't even last a day, the hole burst while I am at the corner/curve way, Luckily I handled the motorcycle well, and didn't face accident.
patches and plugs shouldn’t be done on motorcycle tires because of the curve being all around the edge. you don’t plug/patch regular tires on the curve near the sidewall because it’ll never last and may lead to blowouts

It's also a sidewall puncture and the tire should be swapped and no patched but you are right that this is a temp fix
