    Wonder why Ural doesn’t get rid of the donut, just have a solid shaft like on my vstar 11,00?

    The fit and finish of the Ural similars to be an unlining issue with these motorcycles. Logics to finding parts have been complicated further since now the factory move to Kazastan

    Is this the fix for a squeaky donut? Or is that just always a Ural thing? Both of mine do the same squeak

    So, was this the cause of failure or is that still being determined?? I assume the broken shaft was sent back to you or Ural US.

    In light of the recent 2022 drive shaft failure. The potential for the circlip position to be the cause, leads me to ask if there is a way to look at clearance on the doughnut to confirm correct circlip position?

      With the bike on the center stand, the pins on the shaft at the donut will contact the plat of the output yoke on trans. This condition is too tight and during suspension flex could cause issues. The one with the shaft failure was one of the first 2022s before drive shaft clearance was noted in the setup process.

      @@heindlengineeringmotorcycle Many thanks Jon. Is there a dimension to look for? Eg gap size (mm) between yoke and doughnut? I have a 2022 delivered Dec 2021 to Australia.
